NEVER AGAIN! Not our first bad experience at this store, but definitely our last! From the time we entered the store it was a bad experience. One employee (appeared to be in charge) was checking the temperature of products in the case (with a dirty ipad like device) while another employee (appeared to be a new employee) was trying to fill an order for a customer. We stuck it out for 10-15 minutes or so while the employee completed the four sandwich order. After the employee cleaned things up, washed his hands, and donned new gloves, we placed an order for two tuna sandwiches. Employee went right to work. After putting two scoops (should be four scoops) of tuna on the first sandwich, he proceeded put one scoop on the second then said they were out of tuna! After checking with the female employee that had been checking temperatures, it was confirmed, “out of tuna”. We almost walked out at that point but changed the order for the second sandwich to one of the “special” sandwiches on the menu board. Once the basics were on the bread I was asked if I wanted mayonnaise (not one of the ingredients in the description). I pointed at the board and said, “thats the sandwich I want”. Sparing the details, they did not have all of the ingredients described on the menu board for the sandwich I ordered, so it became a standard “build your own” sandwich. Checking the receipt after we left, we found we had been charged for the “special” sandwich that they couldn’t make!
How were the sandwiches? Not good! Bread was dry and chewy, half the tuna was missing on the tuna sandwich, and the other sandwich was not what was ordered...
Read moreWhat a disappointment this facility is. We stopped in primarily because we can USUALLY order the Foot Long as a wrap and save some carbs. The so-called Sandwich Artist behind the counter laid out the wrap and the meat, not even amounting to 4 oz...This shall be a 33% meat increase, as advertised for the Titan Turkey? What B.S.!!! , Upon challenging the meat portion, an employee held up two measly containers of shredded something to "prove" how wrong we were. We were then over charged, the idiotic employee asking for nearly $44! After further revisions and screw ups on the ticket, which reduced the incorrect charges only $3, we gave up and paid the criminal payment demand. You can see the receipt and how they charged us incorrectly. How does 2 tiny wraps, nearly devoid of meat ($11.79), two extra meat charges ($3), and two bottles of soda ($?) come to $41.98??? When I stated that we had much bigger wraps at two other locations (Eatonville, WA and Firestone, CO), the brilliant sandwich artist replied with "Oh, you are a long ways from home." This is yet another example of very poor customer service, typical of everywhere you spend your hard earned dollars. Worst Subway experience, EVER. Thanks a lot 1520 S. Pioneer Way employees and manager. ...
Read moreBad bad bad. So bad I had to blog about & take a photo. Will be contacting corporate office to let them know how bad this place was. I'm from California, and while traveling before this incident = "Oh, Subway; let's grab lunch." After Incident: = "Remember that Subway in Moses Lake, and how cheap and condescending they were... let's skip Subway all together."
Totally disgusted by the Subway in Moses Lake, WA who seem to take pride in providing the very least to their customers. "Sir, that's how we're told to do it," seem to be the oft repeated phrase when I complained that there was practically no lettuce, and when I mentioned the pathetic amount of olives, I was told I was only supposed to get 3 olive slices on each half of a foot long. That is about 1/2 an olive per side. Want more, pay 40 cents more. Jared should be ashamed that the corporate value of least is alive and well at Subway. The manager was kind enough to point out that because I had more than three olive bits, I was getting free extra olives. Wow, am I not McLovin' the Subway generosity. Also on the rant, they can't even make an italian BMT look like the photo on the menu bar. They don't show iceberg lettuce on the menu photo, but that's all they have in the...
