This gallery is fabulous, and Sam Shaw's creations ROCK. I mean, really! I purchased a gorgeous ring created from a beach stone encircled in 22 k brushed gold. The stone is actually basalt, and it's oblong with a matte black finish. I saw a similar one on a woman seated next to me at a Bar Harbor cocktail party and asked her about it. She said, "It's a beach rock." I told her that I've looked for something like this for a long time and she told me where to find it! Thanks, Sam, for my ROCK.
