The Kimball Shop — Local services in Mount Desert

I adore this boutique. I have only visited once/ yr for the past few summers, but I have found something of note each time. This time I picked up several beautiful napkins. I tend to use them as colorful accents on side tables, the front hall table, to line bread/ roll baskets while entertaining, etc. There is a very wide selection of table linens available here. I also discovered LAFCO candles this trip. I didn't buy any here, mostly due to limited space in the car (we tend to buy a lot of antique books on driving vacations), but I've already had three LAFCO deliveries since returning from the trip. I also enjoyed looking at the gorgeous embroidered items. I restrained myself and purchased only two, but I would have loved to order about a dozen. The most beautiful shop, very gracious and very helpful staff…best of everything for every room in your house, best kitchen shop, gifts for every occasion, lovely stationary, wonderful stylish clothes….the Kimball Shop & Boutique has it ALL!. When I’m not there, I call them all year long for baby presents, wedding presents, birthday presents, holiday gifts, etc…they wrap everything perfectly and ship…by far my favorite shop...
