We stopped by Copita last minute after a long drive into Maine, and they kindly accommodated us right away. The ambience was warm, cozy, and welcoming, the perfect setting to unwind after a long day on the road.
Patrick took excellent care of us, especially with the drinks. We tried the Mexican Cola and the Pearfect mocktail, both refreshing and beautifully crafted.
For appetizers, we had the Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly crisp, lightly caramelized, and full of flavor. For the main course, we ordered the special pappardelle pasta of the evening, a comforting bowl featuring apple, fig, and walnut tossed in a sweet-potato Dijon cream sauce and topped with lemon-sage breadcrumbs. They were happy to make it vegetarian for us, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious: hearty, creative, and packed with fall flavors. We also loved the stuffed vegan squash, which was wholesome and beautifully seasoned.
To end on a sweet note, we shared the dark chocolate mousse, which had just the right level of sweetness, perfectly balanced by a tangy cherry sauce, a delightful finish to a memorable meal.
From the warm hospitality to the thoughtful vegetarian options, everything at Copita was top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for cozy date-night vibes, great cocktails (and mocktails!), and delicious vegetarian-friendly dishes...
Read moreBack of the Bus for You. The food is good, though very overpriced, Nyc prices in NE harbor is a bit silly. Maybe that’s who they are angling for. Kitchen ill served by front desk. The man seating you was a Nasty piece of work. He gave us a back corner table between the kitchen and the bathroom. Black walls. Claimed it was the Vip section with a sneer. We respectfully and politely asked for another table as it was already a 2 nd seating. He claimed all tables were fully booked. That we had only booked our reservation that morning. What does that have anything to do with the matter. After seeing 4 empty tables of 4 seats, we realized what a nasty man he was , that he had No intention of being fair, gracious or hospitable. Wonder how many others he has turned off too. We declined ordering a bottle of wine and dessert. I guess he never heard that being Nice to customers is Good business too. Go to Abels , Asticou or Nor’ easter. Like the local gentry who have homes in Mt...
Read moreCopita was a 10/10 experience and probably one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. I arrived super early so had my pick of the seats at the bar and the staff were amazing. Super friendly and chatty and bartender was great at his craft making delicious mezcal cocktails. I had the artichoke app, focaccia bread with garlic oil (complementary) and the halibut with risotto for my entree. The halibut was the flaky salty lemony goodness that I’ve had nowhere else. The risotto was something I could never replicate even if I tried. And then the chocolate hazelnut mousse to top it all off was chefs kiss. This place is not to be missed. I’m bummed I’ve never been before now, but will certainly be back. Stop by if your visiting the area, you won’t be...
