Awesome store! I cannot say enough the great experience I had at Pit Stop Hobbies! Incredibly large stock of RC cars/vehicles, parts, and support accessories at great prices.

I walked in with a good idea of what I was looking for. Chris was awesome and went above and beyond to assist me. He brought the vehicle I was interested in over to the counter, pulled the body off and let me take my time checking it out, as it the first I was seeing it in person. When he realized that he didn't have the specific battery and charging bundle kit that I wanted as well (they're unavailable everywhere online also) he offered to piece it together but only charge me the cheaper bundle price. He even knocked a few bucks off of the final total when he rung it all up! All of this without me even asking! AND this was in addition to everything already being priced lower than all of the online retailers!

Please go out of your way to support this local brick and mortar store. Pit Stop Hobbies went above and beyond for me. They are more than willing to help out and answer your questions. While they specialize in electric powered RC cars, their large stock is incredibly diverse across several brands with everything from on road cars to buggies to rock crawlers.

I will definitely be going out of my way to give this store as much of my future business...

I recently went here to support local business, even though its a little out of the way. The person there spoke down to me and gave me bad suggestions. I was sold electronics and parts that didn't work with my model. Some of the parts weren't even compatible with each other. I didn't find this out until I had them partially installed and soldered, plus the shop was too far out of my way. I'm hoping that the mismatched parts don't hurt my model or meet an early death due to the bad parts selection.

Specifically, I was recommended and sold a Hobbywing 10bl120 ESC and 3800KV motor for use with a 4x4 SCT for bashing purposes. The ESC is only rated for 2WD , and the pinion gear I was sold was for a 3mm axle, and the motor has a 5mm axle.

Pricing was pretty good, and if there had been someone with a better understanding, there the parts selection would have been more useful. What a shame, as I was hoping to take it out after working on it.

The only reason this review isn't 1 star is because the pricing and selection were now horrible and they have a short course track. I'll go to my local shop next time and stick to...

First time walking back into this establishment under new ownership and Wow 👌 I was met by the New Owner Shane as I walked in he was already lifting his head and stopped everything he was doing to greet me with a happy and exciting mood ready and willing to help me asking how my afternoon was going.. That Means A Lot To Me!.. And after a long Honest Conversation with Shane. I Feel that I was talking to NOT!! just a business man how's trying to make money... BUT A FRIEND!!.. How understands US. You and Me the Real RC World.. People who walk into his Pitstop Hubby Shop and Racetrack!! Are Truly Treated with a Honest and excited owner and Fellow RC Racer!
