I really wanted to like this place. I’d heard some friends mention The Dice Goblin, so I figured I’d stop in and check it out. Big mistake. The second I walked in, it felt like I was interrupting some private club. The employees barely looked up from whatever game they were playing behind the counter, and when I asked a simple question about one of the dice sets, I got a half-mumbled answer like I was bothering them.
Everything in the store is way overpriced. I looked up a dice set I liked while I was there, and it was literally $15 cheaper online. And no, I’m not paying a “local business” premium for a store that acts like I’m not even welcome.
The place itself is a mess cramped shelves, dusty displays, and zero effort to make it feel clean or inviting. It smelled weird, like old pizza and mildew, and the lighting made it feel like I was shopping in someone's basement.
Also, don’t even bother with their events. I tried to show up for a game night that was posted online, only to find out it was canceled with no update anywhere. A few of us were just standing around like idiots while the staff acted like we were the problem for not knowing. Are you kidding?
All in all, this place feels like it was made for the staff, not the customers. If you’re not already in their little clique, don’t expect to be treated like you matter. Super disappointed.

There’s a room that has rule books and other books related to tabletop games and they also host gaming events. What I love most of all is that the store is a safe space for the community to get together- 10/10...
