I was recommended this shop from many people on account of the tattoos and piercings being very well done. Trusting the recommendations, I went to this place on March 24th to get a tongue piercing. When I arrived I was taken back to the room told to swish mouthwash for 10 secs, sat down, and was immediately pierced with little to no talk at all. The piercer did not mark the piercing beforehand, and there was little to no effort put into calming my nerves. So when I was pierced It was extremely painful and felt like the needle wouldn’t go through my tongue, it was NOT quick. Once the needle was through and she was putting the jewelry in she explained some of the aftercare and then sent me on my way. The whole process of walking in, getting pierced, and paying was maybe 4 minutes long. The whole experience felt very rushed, and I did not feel comfortable enough to ask many questions. For the next week my tongue was extremely painful and purple from bruising, I was barely able to talk at all. About two weeks into the healing process I start noticing a bump on the top of my piercing. I was doing everything I was told to do cleaning wise so I called the shop. They told me over the phone that it was rejecting but that I should come in to get it looked at. I showed up at the shop and was told in the lobby after a 10 second glance at my tongue that it was rejecting and I should take it out. Once again I felt not like a welcomed customer, but like an annoyance to the piercer. I decided to go to a different piercer for a second opinion and I’m so glad I did. The other shop sat me down in a chair, talked me through everything and made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions. This is when I found out that the bump wasn’t from rejection, it was because the piercing was at such a harsh angle that it was putting too much pressure at the top and causing the bump to form. The piercer told me it would never heal correctly and would only cause gum recession extremely fast because the bottom ball was sitting directly on my bottom teeth. I had to take the piercing out after 3 weeks of having it. Needless to say, my experience was extremely bad. The piercer was more focused on getting me out of the shop quick than giving me a quality piercing. I will not be returning to this shop for any future piercings. I know there are multiple piercers at this shop so I can’t speak for anything other than a tongue piercing but I DO NOT recommend for any oral piercings.
TLDR: This shop pierced me wrong and told me it was rejecting when in reality it was just a bad piercing job.

Read moreWOW! That's about all I can say about my experience at studio 4:13! Dusty is such a reputable artist and is booked for a few weeks out. But I asked him to get in touch with me if he ever had any cancellations. He had one and his wife got me booked. If you are looking to get a tattoo that is a work of art, this is the shop to go to. The professionalism in this shop is out of this world. I mean hell, one of Dustys guys went and got me McDonald's while I waited(meal not included in your visit) but I seen a review that said the staff was rude...FAR FROM IT!! If you are looking for quality work go to Studio 4:13. If you are looking for a peice that you will be proud of, go to Studio 4:13. Dusty and his staff made the visit very personable. Dusty has an artistic mind set and it shows with every drop of ink. The shop was clean and the price was right. Studio 4:13 will be my go to shop from here on out. Dusty may be booked and you might have to wait a little while to get your tattoo by him but his work is well worth the wait. His other artist are great as well I had family get tattooed by the others and they are all very impressive. Only the best quality comes out of Studio 4:13. Thanks Dusty for a meaningful tattoo that I will cherish...
Read moreIn the past I have gone to different parlors for my piercings. Every time it’s been painful and the pain stays until I change the piercing. Yesterday my sister and I went to get some work done. I wanted my industrial and nose pierced and she wanted her septum done. The piercer, whose name I didn’t grab (let’s be honest, I wouldn’t remember even if I was told), talked to me about the industrial bar she was going to give me. I had no idea there was another option to just have hoops instead and I got those in place of the bar. Today I woke up in no pain. I have never been happier with my piercings. 10/10 for this place and for the piercing she deserves a 20/10. (Sorry Dustin! I liked the building but I liked the nice woman more!) My sister is also happy with her piercing and couldn’t wait to brag about it. I saw her posting pictures on Facebook and she did it almost immediately. Thank you so much for making this a quick and (almost) painless experience for us. We both had so much anxiety about the process and the moment she began to work with us that anxiety went away. I wish I could have tipped more, because she deserved a million....
