Waxwing Farm — Local services in Mount Vernon

I purchased some of their cherry tomatoes intending to later add them to a salad for dinner. On the way home a snacking sensation got the best of me and I decided to try a few in transit. Oh, wow, those are yummy! I might have a few more. Maybe another couple. Just a few more. In minutes I was blindly scouring a small green carton for any stragglers. Now, this could be a reflection of my inability to restrain myself when it comes to snacking or maybe it has something to do with the insatiable deliciousness of these veggies. I will let you be the judge. Truly some of the finest veggies I have been fortunate enough to consume. And what a lovely couple, with their sun hats and flower garden. If vegetables are on the grocery list, I would highly recommend a visit. You won't regret it. And try not to eat them all on the way home....

This has absolutely been my favorite vendor at the Everett Farmer's Market! Their produce is always top notch, just absolutely beautiful. I cannot be without the Japanese eggplant and fresh packed salads, plus a whole array of other goodies. The vendors are so friendly and you can tell their veggies are grown and harvested with loving care. I do not know what this current Covid-19 pandemic will do to businesses such as this one, I hope and pray it will not hurt...

All produce fresh from the garden and delicious. We especially enjoy their mixed greens with the little flowers added! We're preparing tasty new vegetable dishes with the wide variety of available produce from Waxwing.
