Cashier was rude. I had surgery on my dominant hand its bandage up. The cashier asked if I wanted a bag I told her I had one. The lady kept putting things next to the bag as she was ringing them up instead of inside the bag, as I was bagging my items she asked me if there was anything else I said ya, you could of help bag my items as she totalled my bill. She said all you had to do is ask... really?? I couldn't put my phone number in to get rewards, I asked her to go back so I can enter it in. The cashier then told me she didn't want to deal with me today! I told her she must be having a bad day I'm sorry then after that she would not let me pay for my items. She kept on saying all you had to do is ask!! (What I thought ??) The cashier told me that I had to go into another line because she refused to take my money!! So I had to ask her to take my treasures to the other counter to be rung up again with a nice young woman... I have shopped there for years, even at their old store never have I had someone so rude as she was, this was the second experience with same person. I'm sorry but she should not...
Read moreI have been a customer of Bargains Galore for many years, and I also like to bring my donations there. Recently, though, I’ve noticed a glaring problem with the donation drop-off: it is constantly closed during regular business hours. This was frustrating, and while I understand that staffing issues or high donation volume can cause temporary closures, this was not a one-off. This has happened more than five times in a row in the last 3 weeks. After going out of my way that many times only to find the donation bay closed, I’ve been completely discouraged from bringing my donations to Bargains Galore. I hope they can find a better system for handling donations—whether that means further adjusting donation hours, as they have in the past, or addressing the apparent staffing issues. Until that point, I’ll be finding a new location to...
Read moreALWAYS LOVE THIS STORE! They even had some nice gemstone rings! First time I have seen that! Most everything is usually neatly priced and packaged. Most items are clean and not stained or broken. They are such a good store compared to the Goodwill. The clothing prices were too high for me, though, and I am usually willing to pay but just, prices are getting too high in thrift stores. They get everything for free, and some stores like Value Village and the Stanwood Food bank Thrift store throw a LOT of our donations into THE REFUSE BIN! If I need some dress pants I'll go to Ross. I mean, FOR HEAVENS SAKES! The clothing at the thrift store SHOULDN'T be more than BRAND...
