I had a mixed experience with this vet. They seemed to be excellent with my mothers dog. Its curbside service because of CV19 right now and while we were outside we saw several dogs being walked on the grassy SHADED area which I thought was nice since it's so hot. However, I called around pricing a rabies shot and nails clipping for my mothers dog, and for noth together it was less than $50 which she was happy with. I didn't have records or papers for the dog, and at first they said they wouldn't be able to do it without them. I told the young lady I was just helping my mother with some tasks while she was immobile right now. The lady that answered the phone said she spoke with the doctor and that he said he did feel comfortable going ahead and servicing the dog so she put us downfor the following day. We arrive the next morning, give them the name, and tell them we're here for the rabies shot and nails trimming and hand over the dog. No problems. It takes approximately an hour, and they bring him back out looking great and happy. But they give me a bill for $350!! I asked why it was so high and she said that since he didn't have records they went ahead and did a full examination and all shots. I feel like that at some point in the conversation they should have let me know that's what was going to happen. My mother is on a budget and certainly wasn't expecting that. As many times as the rabies shot and trimming was mentioned, when I asked for the price, when they were deciding if they could see him or not, all times they could have let me know they would have to do a complete workup. They were very nice though, they canceled 2 of the tests that were waiting for results which took about $100 off the bill. And even then they said we could pay what I expected to pay that day, and pay the balance later. After writing this I changed my rating from a 3 to a 4. They were very customer friendly, open on Saturdays, and good with the animals. Maybe just be more clear about what to expect as far...
Read moreOur 7 year old Golden needed to be seen. He had been a patient here for a couple of years. I called (5/19/25) and asked for an appointment and was told first available was 8 days out. I explained his symptoms and was told 8 days out was still the best they could do. I called another nearby clinic, which we had never been to, and after hearing the symptoms they insisted that I come that day. He had a large tumor on his spleen and another on his heart. He had to be put down 36 hours later. His outcome could not have been changed, but we were so disappointed to be dismissed so easily by his own vet, when another vet recognized the urgency immediately. The receptionists need training to recognize what can wait and what is emergent, or they at least need to have some sort of written algorithm to use.
EDIT: I got the response below from the clinic, requesting that I email them. I emailed them immediately, and after 12 days I have not gotten a response. But the most incredible thing about this whole experience is that after being turned away on Monday, and my dog passing away on Tuesday, the clinic called me on Friday to try and book an appointment. This was after me informing them with 2 separate emails and a Google review. The clinic clearly has operational gaps that need to be addressed. I fully expect to get a reminder card in a couple of months for my deceased dog's...
Read morethis review is for the GROOMING ONLY. I took my 2 aussies here to get groomed and it was by far the BEST and most professional grooming job my dogs have ever received by a groomer outside of the show ring. You could even tell that they really took the time to de-shed and rake out their coat, so there has been alot less shedding around the house to deal with too. I have taken them to several groomers before and they cannot even compare (and I have high standards for grooming)- Liberty's groomer clearly actually knows what he/she is doing. The reason I knocked off 1 star is because it was clear that my dogs had not been let out to potty from drop off at 7 am to 5 pm when being picked up. As soon as they made it out the door when leaving, like clockwork, they both ran to the grass outside, peed forever, & pooped immediately. I know my dogs and their habits, and it was very obvious. Thank the heavens the pups looked so good, because otherwise I would have gone ballistic.
I am going to do 2 separate reviews for this place- one for the grooming and one for the vet clinic itself bc my experiences were...
