United Supermarkets — Local services in Muleshoe

Now that the hustle of the holidays is past and my family has gone home, I can write this. On Christmas Eve I went to the United in Muleshoe to finish my shopping for Christmas dinner. It was like running an obstacle course. First, on the frozen isle, pallets were lined up the length of the isle such that only one person on each side could pass. There was another customer behind me and I had to wait at the end for him to pass so that I could open the door to get what I needed. Second, there were carts loaded with boxes blocking items on the ends and In the isles. On order to get the item I wanted, I had to push a cart out of the way, while an employee stood and watched me. Third, when I went to get rolls, there weren't any. I do take responsibility for that since I waited till the last minute. However, as I went to check out, I saw some on a rack at the end and got a package. However when I opened them at home to bake them, they were molded. Since Tanner left, and yes everyone knew his name cause he engaged with the customers, that store seems "dirtier", less friendly and helpful and more chaotic. The one positive note was the dairy section. I needed eggs and milk and didn't have to go through numerous cartons to find unbroken eggs or contort...

I went in the other day to get some goodies for a work party. I was so livid by the time I got out I didn't care if I spoke to a manager or not. I could not get out fast enough. I would say young lady, but, this girl spoke disgustingly. Her name was Melanie. She was talking to another person about another lady who works there. She stated,"if she smells that bad just walking by, imagine what certain parts smell like." ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. How embarrassing for the other woman. There are some things that don't need to be discussed in general. Yet...

I love united! I stop there for gas and all my grocery needs. The problem is that it's not close to me, so the fact that I stop there every chance I can says it all. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They always have little extra things in the store that I just have to have. The deli is amazing! The best brisket ever. All the sides are great!. I wish there was one closer to me. But I'll keep come back to this one...
