First off the service from everyone is amazing. I've been going to this location since before Bay Area Diamond Company took over. The prior owners set a really high bar on customer service. I wasn't sure if the new owners would be able to meet the expectations the prior owners had set. I don't know how they do it, but they EXCEED the prior customer service even.

I'm not one that is great with "Hallmark" holidays, but I know they are important to my wife. Bri from Bay Area Diamond Company ensured that I was able to surprise my wife with an amazing gift this y ear for Valentine's Day!

My wife was in for her free inspection and jewelry cleaning in January. My wife was browsing and Bri secretly messaged me my wife's favorite selection. That alone was incredibly valuable, BUT Bri did even better. Bri helped encourage me to come in by providing very friendly reminders that Valentine's Day was fast approaching. I was swamped with work, so Bri continued to help further by offering to drop off the gift (along with the free dozen roses from their promo) at my work, so there were absolutely no excuses to not completely WOW my wife.

Needless to say, my wife was blown away when she received the gift. She couldn't figure out how I knew her favorite selection. :) I had to reveal that Bri was my secret weapon.

My husband called Bay Area Diamond in Mundelein, Illinois, on a Friday evening because my elderly mother was beside herself. She had just given me her grandmother’s diamond ring. She shared that she has worried for decades that when my dad took the diamond and had it reset as a surprise that it had been switched for a fake. Now that she had given it to me, she was frantic to find out if it was real. The woman on the phone at Bay Area Diamond told us to come on in and they’d take a look. The general manager, Bill Nanfeldt, was so gosh darn nice! He cleaned my ring and then shared the good news. It was not only real, but it was very old and in great shape! He explained that diamonds cut before 1940 shone differently than post. He even drew a picture to answer I question I had. All of this for no charge. I love good people and this place has definitely earned my business. I am having my diamond set back into its original setting and won’t trust anyone except Bay Area...

My husband and I were looking to upgrade my ring for our 25th anniversary, and we had quite a few jewelers on our list. Our first stop was Bay Area Diamond Co., and it ended up being our last.

We were treated with such kindness and even received a mini educational session on diamonds, which made us feel informed and confident. After that experience, we had no desire to visit any other jewelers.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the entire team at Bay Area Diamond Co. is. Bill and Sandy were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making our experience special.

They made what could have been a stressful decision feel exciting and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for their time, patience, and expertise , they truly made this milestone unforgettable.
