My experience here was terrible. Upon arrival I was greeted and seated right away. I was given a price list and I made my selection. The pedicure I selected gave me the option to pick my scent. I asked the gentleman what were my options and he said ok and started to prepare the water. I never got to pick a scent. I do not believe the gentleman that helped me could understand English very well. I let him know that the water was too hot. His coworker told him to adjust the water. It still ended up being too cold because he walked away for to long. By now the tub is full. So another worker came over and drained most of the water out to adjust the temperature. In the meantime the drain plug keeps failing into the water. After the plug was put back into place it kept sucking the tub liner into the drain causing the liner to wrap around my feet. At this time the gentleman turned off the jets to stop the suction process. So I'm sitting here in luke warm water with no jets. I asked could the water be warmer and more hot water was added but nothing was done to adjust the tub liner which continued to wrap around my feet. Finally I attempted to flatten the liner myself. It did not work. At this time the gentleman proceeded to let the water out and remove the liner. So I had to wait until the new liner was placed and more water was ran. Finally almost 40 minutes later the gentleman started on my pedicure. He asked If I wanted my toenails cut. I said yes. He cut them then asked if it was ok. I said YES and he proceeded to cut them down more. The hot towels used were still too hot when he tried to apply them. I moved my legs and he grabbed at them to try to apply the towel anyway. At this point I am just wanting to get it over with. He starts to apply the polish and it seems old and sticky. I guess if you do not select gel you get what you get. I was so disappointed I did not ask to change the color. Once completed the color looked very dull. The gentleman gathered his things and just walked away. Once I got to the register to pay the price had somehow changed from what was on the pamphlet I looked at. I will never go back to this place. This was by far the worst pedicure experience I have...

Was super excited to see a new nail place close by with amazing reviews. Made an appointment for 4pm for a dip mani and pedi. Arrive at 4, mention I have an appointment, sit down and wait. After 35 minutes of waiting and seeing walk ins getting pedi chair spots I spoke up. I tell him again what my appointment is for and he tells me to sit at the chair so he can wrap my nails. Already wondering why they didn’t think to wrap my nails while I was getting pedi done, but ok. Instead of wrapping my nails he instructed me to soak my nails/fingers in a bowl of acetone. Yes, acetone. He goes and works on someone else’s nails and 5 minutes later I am feeling the tips of my fingers stinging. It is now almost 5pm and my fingers and nails are dried out, nobody has even asked if I needed to see color books and again forgot I was also supposed to get a pedi. I tell the guy to just remove my old dip since he already started but that I no longer wanted a mani/pedi. He sends me to the back and tells me someone will come remove my dip. Nobody comes. Finally someone asked me what I needed and again, just asked to please finish taking my dip off and that I no longer want what I came for. Then I am sent back to the first guy, who tries to talk me back into it. By this point I am over it. He removes the dip and barely cleans my nails up, doesn’t even file them. 5:20pm and I walk out with naked, unfiled nails that snag the second I get in the car. If you’ve read this far, I am sorry. The above is about as long and drawn out as that 1.5ish hours I spent at Lux. Anyway, all that to say that is my first and last time at this...

I’m really disappointed. The first time I went here which was 5 weeks ago they did a great job on my gel manicure so 3 weeks later I booked an appointment because I have a baby and didn’t want to be there forever. Well my appointment time comes and I get there and get seated for my pedicure James does the pedicure and it was great. Well then tons of people started coming in and it’s like they didn’t know what to do I had to sit at the massaging chair for 15 minutes before I got moved to do my nails. I finally get seated for my nails and had to wait another 15 minutes before someone decided to come do them and when he was going to do them the owner was going to let him grab another lady in front of me and I said no she was a walk in I had an appointment and he’s like oh you had an appointment? I said yes! So the guy made the other girl moved and Hardy finally started on my nails. The whole time he was doing them he was constantly distracted keeping a literal tab note book with each pedicure someone was doing and the shape of my nails were so ugly I kept trying to tell him and finally I just wanted to leave.
