Overrall: Nice Pros: Beautiful and clean establishment. Staff were attentive and friendly. Restrooms were spotless which is always a good sign. Menu has great variety which focuses on Japanese and Thai cuisine. Spicy foods had a customizable spice level. My friend and I were there for several hours, and the staff did not seem to mind. Very warm and friendly environment. Price was reasonable for the amount of food. Cons: The food. Although Lemongrass is known for their aesthetic dishes, I'd rather take a delicious dish over a pretty one. I ordered the Volcano Chicken with level 3 spice and a side of fried rice. Miso soup and vegetable roll not pictured. The chicken was fried, but the batter became very soggy (not moist, soggy and falling off the meat) after the addition of the sauce. It made for a gooey chicken. The "spices" were just spooned and plopped on top of the pile of chicken. The fried rice was very salty (I LOVE salty food, but it was a bit much). I've had this dish before 2 years ago at this same restauant, and I remember raving about it. Perhaps today was an off day. My friend's sushi looked absolutely amazing though. I recommend that if you go. Would I go back? Yes. Would I recommend Lemongrass to a friend? Maybe a non-Asian friend.

I was craving sushi and have yet to try a place out here in the Boro. Lemongrass was on my Yelp list and happens to be close to where I live so my family and I decided to try it out. I’ve seen others giving them raving reviews so that was a good sign. Keep in mind they do close during the mid part of the day so check their hours before going! We arrived 11 minutes after opening for their dinner crowd and the place was already half full. Definitely a sign that they are popular in the area. My husband and I each ordered Thai tea for drinks and their crab Rangoon for appetizer. Highly HIGHLY recommend both. The tea was just the way I like it, very sweet. And the crab Rangoon - honestly I could eat an order myself. Which I will probably do next time! For our dinner, my husband got the Sex on the beach roll and the Do Re Me roll. I tried the JB roll and Dynamite roll. Both of us enjoyed our picks. They definitely have a bunch of options for both Japanese cuisine and Thai. We will be back to try their Thai menu next! Service was good for them being so busy. I look forward to come back!

This has become my number place for sushi. I brought my daughter and grandson for her birthday dinner. I had the Sashimi platter, with thick generous slices of tuna, salmon, and white fish and crab meat, which surprised me since expected thinner pieces, fried rice, while they had California roll and Rainbow roll platters. Our food came quickly, and everything was really good. We couldn't finish it all, and $75 for three people. My platter cost more than theirs, but I also had all of the fish. I've been to other sushi restaurants and paid much more. Lemongrass is reasonably priced with full menus on their website. My first visit was for lunch, getting the bento box with sashimi that came with a California roll, rice, and Miso soup. Two adults and two children cost $55, and not bad at all. I took photo of their hours. Weekend hours vary as Saturdays they close at 10pm and Sunday at 9pm. They are closed on Mondays. If you're looking for a good local sushi restaurant, Lemongrass is worth the visit.

I gave the 5 stars awhile ago but never left a review. I don't live in Murfreesboro, TN anymore...been gone for awhile...while I don't leave a lot of positive reviews (which I need to learn to do) I need to bring to everyone's attention how great this place really is. We probably craved sushi a couple times a month and this was ALWAYS our go to place. We did try other places but they never compared to Lemongrass, so that's why we always came back. The waitresses were always great. Restaurant was always clean. Food was always delicious. The Spicy Tuna Roll and California Roll were always my favorite, they even made special rolls for us. Fish was always fresh and delicious. Never got sick, which is what would happen at other places. Hubby always got the Dragon Roll, Crunchy Shrimp Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll and a Crunchy California Roll, and the Tempura Bento Box. Of course not all at the same time but those were our usuals. Place may be a bit pricey but well worth it. We did order out once and they did mess our order up and forgot to put one of our rolls in the bag and we had already drove home, but we called them and they said sorry and asked us if we could come back and they would make us a fresh roll. They were always super nice. Glad they expanded for more seating too. I highly recommend this place for those who want to try truly good sushi...

Wonderful food, even better staff. Back story: I had ordered sushi and an entree to go. After picking up my order and placing it (along with my purse) inside my vehicle on the passenger side, my car inadvertently locked! No keys...no phone...no food!! After going back inside and explaining my plight, I asked a staff member if I could use a phone. I was actually handed their personal cell phone! After numerous failed attempts to reach my kiddos, I went back to my car to see if maybe it now recognized my key fob. Yeah....it didn't. So, back inside the restaurant I go. With a different staff member, who I believe is the/an owner, now at the check out area, I explain my situation again and ask to use a phone. This gentleman, seeing my frustration, offered me a table, something to drink, and prepared me a meal...free of charge! My apologies for the long narrative, but I could not pass up this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to this family run establishment. The food is always fresh and delicious. They make some of the best sushi around. Their food presentation is colorful and alluring. For me though, now it's all made even better by the amazing and caring staff. And yes....a kiddo came through, and I was finally able to unlock my car, go home, and...
