Our youngest daughter was getting married at Inola in Blue Ridge (wonderful venue) and I wanted a place that could house all of our family flying in from Michigan. We had 12 in total (Dads, Grandmothers, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins) and the seven bedrooms (6 with private bath) gave each their own space in which to retreat. When we weren't engaged in wedding work/fun, we enjoyed meals around the dining table, watching football, and relaxing in the living room, out on the main deck, or around the fire pit (very popular each night).

The house was very clean with modern amenities (including two coffee makers (k-cup and brew with grinder...we're coffee freaks), and well stocked (from the firewood provided to the scented hand soap in the bathrooms (my mother is tracking it down)).

The hosts were great! Jodi was on top of everything leading up to the long weekend and our stay was just what I'd hoped it would be...rare family time for us all to relax under one roof. Add in the fall colors in the GA mountains, and it was a fantastic weekend.

This home was the perfect fit and spot for our family of 11. Everything one would need is thought of to cook, play, enjoy and relax around this property. The kids loved the putt-putt golf and especially the pool. The adults truly enjoyed all of the above as well. While we had rain when we were there, it was nice to walk out on the porches and enjoy it as well as the numerous rainbows we saw afterwards. The location of the home was ideal for us because we ventured many directions to enjoy hiking, apple picking (a must do!), finding the swinging bridge, etc… And yet it was far enough out to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the mountains. You’ll find yourselves rested, starting your days slowly and yet see so many things. Friends of mines booked Drift Away Luxury Lounge for a couples trip. We had a great time the home was clean, spacious, comfortable & had all the amenities you needed. Especially watching the Super Bowl on the nice big screen TV! I will have memories for a lifetime because of my stay at Drift Away Luxury Lounge! On checkout day while packing I forgot my wedding band on the bathroom sink. I didn’t realize I left my ring until I got home. I contacted my friend who booked to get in contact with owners. Not even 10 mins later my friend got a reply & was told “No worries the ring will be found” Not only did the owner find my ring. We live in the same state GA & she went out of her way to bring my ring to my house! You just don’t know how much I really appreciated that! I can’t...
