This is America's furniture warehouse, not American furniture warehouse the great CO and AZ furniture store out west. The SC one is a rip-off off clone of the popular, well run, great selection, great prices of the Colorado real AFW. The lame look-a-like did not even say it was not associated with the western serious of stores and implied that it was the same corporation. Finally after several visits and when pressed about the different websites, they told the truth.

So this stores premise is base on a lie. Unable to make their own brand and then back it up with good pricing and sound customer service, they chose to purloin someone else hard work and history I am surprised the real AFW has not taken legal action.

I tried to buy a loveseat for 2 months from them. It was part of a set, a couch and a loveseat. The loveseat was $100 less than the sofa. Together they were on sale as discontinued closeouts for $320 off. They said the loveseat alone would be full prince, no discount. The salesmen, Robert, was a nice enough individual and tried several times to get the manager to accept my offer, which was at first half of the sale price for just the loveseat, plus $100 more off because the loveseat was $100 less to begin with. No go. I waited a few weeks, it was still not sold, I suggested just half the price. Still no go. I waited longer, still not sold. I conversed with Rick the manager over the phone. He would not budge. Would not lower the price. Wasting even more of my time. Trying to explain why he was not lowering his price. Then when i ended the call, he proceeded to spam my phone number with calls and a massive txt that repeated ‘AFW rules’ hundreds of time. Very immature and rude. I suggest you go elsewhere, and not support this lie of a store and its rude owner.

Response to owner. a) I appreciate your disclosure not being associated with AFW. I wish that was made clear to me and others the first time I asked. It is great that you want a multi state business, but why mimic the name, colors and even the logo of a competitor. At best this is deceptive. b) I tried to buy the loveseat for almost two months. I was cordial and reasonable with your employees. I did not interact with you until our 1 phone call. I hung up once on that one phone call. I hung up because the people I were with returned and we were going into a restaurant. I said goodbye, and hung up. Maybe you did not hear me; you we waxing on and on about how you had to charge full price on a already discounted item. Plus our conversation was not going anywhere, or towards any reasonable solution. Rick would not budge on full price. Rick proceeded to call back many time, which I hit reject to. I was at the restaurant. Then the 'AFW rules' spam txt. c) You do discount. Many of the loveseat and sofa we looked at were marked with a discount. The discontinued closeout loveseat and sofa of which we wanted only the loveseat was discounted $320. We just wanted the proportional discount applied to just the loveseat, but Rick said full price only. I did and do call that asinine. d) Apparently, in the course of almost two months, coming to the store 3 times, talking and texting with the sales person many times, and talking once to the owner of the store is a failure to communicate on my part. e) I only suggested that I would write this review in our one and only and last phone conversation. Update- Note: This review sits between a 4 star/ 3 star rating. Went back here on Wednesday February 12 2025 with both my mom and my dad to look at furniture for our new house. Unfortunately, David was not there, so we got a female this time helping us. Unfortunately I forgot her name too. We started pricing 3 bedroom sets with different modifications. One got all 3 attachments bedroom, dresser, nightstands, and chest. Another got bed, 1 nightstand, and a chest, The last one we got nightstands, bed, and a dresser plus a chest. We kept asking to price things, and then we were going to comparison price, which meant other locations. we went to the back because we didn't see the sales lady in a while, and got lead on by the owner? manager? about how we are spending so much time pricing the items, and to just buy it. Some people want to comparison shop, to make sure that they are getting the best price. If this store indeed has the best price, we'd be back. He was also saying how "we have everything that could be offered.. at this store and online"-- and I wanted so badly to say "That could be true, but in store or at any of the other furniture stores except Ashley- you don't have any Sleigh beds on the sales floor, and that was a selling point for my furniture." He also said that he didn't want to waste the salesperson time- and it ends up being a no-sale. My mom commented that the salesperson should have tried to move on with someone else. Again, some people do prefer to comparison shop. After some back and forth, the manager/owner added in some deals, such as matresses, and threw in the couch that we were looking at. He also reduced it some, and we ended up making a deal so now we have 3 bedroom sets, and an orange couch! I appreciate that the manager made us a deal-- and it worked out. I do not appreciate however feeling pressured. Delivery could take up to 4-6 weeks they said. So far haven't heard anything, and excited to get our couch and 3 other bedroom sets!

Original:Went here on Monday February 10th 2025 with my mom and aunt to look at furniture for our new house. We were greeted in the front by David, who was pleasant and nice. He explained to us the layout of the store, and where to find him if we needed him. Like any furniture store, this has bedroom sets, couches, chairs,Dining room sets and various decor like paintings. There is even a cute lion/tiger painting that was nice. It also is a very big store, so lots of things to see! We were able to browse with no problems and was checked on as well. I had originally made an order online, the lady who takes care of those orders was out for a few days so I ended up having to call them a few days later to see what was going on with my order. She let me know that she had been away for a few days and that the set I originally ordered would not be available for another 2 months at least and that they had just gotten some inventory in at the physical store if I could come in they could find me something available right now. So as you can imagine I was not in the best mood when I had to drive the 45 minutes to the showroom, figuring I was going there for nothing and it would be a bust. I arrive at the showroom and to my surprise there is absolutely no sales people at the front doors waiting to attack you before you can even get 10 steps in, I keep walking further into the showroom expecting a salesperson to pounce at any moment.....no one! This puts me in a slightly better mood because there is nothing I hate more then pushy sales people, I have been there a few minutes when a young man walks by on the other side of the room and looks like he could possibly work there I ask him if he is available to help me and he stops what he was doing and promptly comes over to help me out. I tell him exactly what I want and I am sure from the review you can already tell I was super particular as to what I wanted and when I needed it by, the young man ALEX H. listens to what I want and brings me right to 4 or 5 things that fit my criteria and never once tries to show me or get me to buy something that doesn't fit what I asked for. He lets me look at them for a little bit and goes out back to double check everything is available for next day delivery, when he comes back I let him know which one I want and he gets me all cashed out and on my way within 20 minutes of walking in! That night I get a call saying the store will be closed the next day due to a storm and that they will not be able to deliver my products when they originally said they would be able to but that they could come out on a Saturday to deliver if that worked for me! fast forward a few days its Saturday and wouldn't you know it I call and they have me first on the delivery line, the two men that delivered that I unfortunately did not get their names were great as well they got it all set up where I wanted it and in a very timely manner they were both in good spirits and just absolutely wonderful...I would recommend this business and ALEX H. to anyone that needs good furniture and a good shopping and delivery experience which we all know is hard to come by in the...
