I understand summers are crazy in Nantucket especially for UPS. Iāve worked a lot in customer service and I empathize with having demanding and grumpy customers. I donāt understand though when there is a lack of help or empathy from the employees to customers who are friendly and kind from the start. With t-mobile, I have no service at this store. I logged into their wifi without issue last year but this year I have a different phone and it would not connect no matter what I did. I had three young kids with me who I was trying to keep calm. I understand if thereās nothing you can do as an employee (although Iām not sure why the WiFi isnāt better), but they just stood there and said nothing while I kept trying. I eventually asked if other people have trouble logging onto the WiFi to which they replied āyes.ā I mentioned that I should have taken a screenshot of the QR codes beforehand and they said that that wouldāve been a good idea.
