The Copper Rose — Local services in Nantucket

If you aren’t sure you’re in the right place, first off: ignore the paper place’s “CLOSED” sign in the center. There will be signage for the Copper Rose soon, it’s just still being made. Standing in the parking lot, you want to approach the very rightmost door with the crystally privacy glass windows. If you aren’t sure you can call the Copper Rose and someone will be happy to pop outside :)

ANYWAY, REVIEW: Went in just to see what was up and had a WONDERFUL talk with Lydia. I had just intended to pop in, check out the vibe, and buy something to support such a cool local business, and my sister and I ended up staying for a short while just talking about life and meanings behind all the things. Lydia picked up on where we were in life, spoke with us for a while, and tailor suggested where we started on our individual journeys. I left feeling more whole :) definitely adding this place to my usual haunts

I am very much a beginner, and the thoughtful layout of the store felt so welcoming, like a carefully curated museum you could spend some serious time in. The space invites you to take your time and explore, then circle back to what draws you in.
