I first saw Dr Jagodzinski in Jan of 2023 for planterâs warts, after trying cryotherapy with no success it was determined I would need have the warts surgically extracted. I choose her as my provider based on the review of other patients before me not knowing the horrorâs that would await me in the months to come. After my surgical removal I had some complications and it was like pulling teeth to get a response from the dr in regards to my concerns, I was bound so tightly I would wake up with shooting pains through out my entire leg (which I now have scars from) and when I would inquire about the pain I was having I was brushed off saying its just my bodyâs way of healing (mind you I was in the boots and bandages for close to 6 weeks) since the damage was already done I did not want to risk seeing a new dr while my wounds were still on the mend and I decided to continue with my follow upâs with Dr Jagodzinski. I had my last follow up with the Dr in March where it was determined I had âclear marginsâ and that my warts were officially gone .
April 2023 rolls around (not even a full 30 days after my last follow up) and I notice what looks to be a new wart, when I reached out to the dr about my concerns and asked if their was another treatment outside of surgery that I could pursue to avoid being incapacitated all summer as well as express the toll the last treatment took on my physical and mental health I was blatantly ignored by the Dr and her staff â my calls were never returned and the several emails I sent were left unanswered. This is beyond shameful to ignore a patient that put her trust in you, allowed you to cut into them and be laid up for weeks and you cant even have the decency to respond? I wouldnât let her lay another finger on me and I suggest anyone considering seeking her for treatment look elsewhere.
Thankfully I trusted my gut and decided to seek a second opinion upon being ignored where I found out that the areas I sought treatment for with Dr Jagodzinski were definitely not clear and required further attention. I was offered a treatment called âswiftâ which required no surgical downtime and was 100% less invasive than the treatment I was given from Dr. Jagodzinski and the areas healed and I have been clear ever since. My new doctor was responsive, thorough and didnât make me feel like a âtest subjectâ while in her office unlike dr Jagodzinski who would not only take pictures of procedures with out her patients permission but would openly share details with me on patients who I saw walk out prior to my appointment. My experience in this office was mentally and physically exhausting and if I could go back in time I would avoid her at all costs, which is why I decided to take the time to write this review and share my story in hopes to save someone else from being butchered, ignored and left untreated...
Read moreAs a doctor, she's great. But question everything with regards to what may be charged! In my first appointment I was given what looked like a cheap pair of foam, mass-produced trial inserts, with the simple instruction "try for 2 weeks." I commented that they were very hard and my back pain would increase. She said that it would only be for 2 weeks, and would at least allow us to know if they would solve my ankle problem. No indication was given that these were anything but a "free trial pair". 2nd appointment: yes, ankle pain is gone, but back pain is worse. So she says she will check if insurance pays for orthotics - which of course confirms the foam ones are free trial pair, since she made no mention of asking first if insurance would cover them. Appointment made for a few weeks in the future, to order custom orthotics.
I get to 3rd appointment and am told simply that insurance won't pay for orthotics. That was the entire appointment. They should have told me over the phone and offered to cancel the appointment unless I had other questions (I didn't). Angry at the waste of time, but luckily my deductible was met, otherwise I would have been furious at being charged for that appointment. But it doesn't end there!
A few weeks later, I get a bill for the cheap foam inserts. $130, minus a small insurance discount! For a pair of inserts I said at the beginning would make my back pain worse, and which Zero mention was made about them not being free, having to check if insurance covers, etc. $130 to verify that I roll my ankle, which she saw from my shoes. $130 for something I said before taking that I can't use. I paid it because I don't have the energy to argue.
If I had been told at the beginning that there would be a charge, I wouldn't have taken them until insurance was consulted. I have since found a pair of Dr Scholl's that work just as well to ease ankle pain, but without the back pain - and at 10% the cost and will last infinitely longer (because length of use for the foam ones is of course 0 since I can't wear them)!
So, yeah, she is friendly and knows what she's doing from a medical point of view, but not financially. If you don't have 100% insurance coverage - beware of the hidden costs and pointless...
Read moreI saw Dr J initially in January and was instantly in love with her bedside manner and caring personality when I met her. I had already been to one podiatrist who I wasn't impressed with so I thought I'd get a 2nd opinion. I was recommended by a couple friends and I'm soo glad I decided to switch doctors. She is the nicest, most caring doctor I've EVER had! I wish she could be my primary doctor Lol. She really took the time to listen to my questions and was determined to heel my foot. I had been dealing with pain in my heel and plantar fasciitis for about a year and a half and she told "well, that is just unacceptable!" We devised a plan that really worked :) You could tell she really wanted to help me. She's very knowledgeable in her field and you can tell she really cares about all of her patients. Her bedside manner and sense of humor are second to none. She answered all my questions and even provided me with her cell # after surgery in case I had questions. I've already recommended her to a few of...
