The technicians (Leo A and Richard) were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and worked with me to customize my system to exactly what I wanted. The techs deserve 5 stars. The company however suffers from logistical and communication problems that occur over and over and make the experience both frustrating and overly time consuming and so at best I’d rate 2 stars because of that. For example, I had very detailed conversations with the sales teams about what I needed, scheduled a walk through but a lower level (black shirt ) was sent who could figure out what to do. Only part install was done. Second walkthrough with advanced (blue shirt) techs who modified what I needed with some very good suggestions since the sales team has a good but limited knowledge base. It is problematic that both times I had walk though teams come the company then sends other people to do the work who are not fully aware of all the details and every time end up having to ask me the same questions, re discuss the whole plan, and still then call the walk through team to try to figure out what was supposed to be done. On top of that, the add on equipment the advance team suggested (and that I then paid in advance for) did not arrive with the installation team a few days later. Having seen the pattern of their organizational problems I made the proactive step of asking to speak to the lead advanced tech to confirm with him that my order was correct and that ALL of the equipment would be ready for the “final” install. He assured me all would be ready. The same problem occurred AGAIN when they come back to install the missing items from the original order! Several items not there - and not available. So I’m now awaiting my third visit from them to get everything done. My time is valuable. They discounted me about $100 when I complained. I spent many thousands on the system, not to mention ongoing monitoring fees. So that discount was an insult. The management apparently do not consider the cost of my time at all since I’ll end up giving three days off of my work (so far)to get this done and a dozen lengthy phone calls. This company is known for doing installs on custom homes and that was why I used them. I would not recommend them until they fix their problems and place greater value on the customers’ time. Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, professional: the absolute best. Elaxi is the only home automation service to be used in Naples. You will never be disappointed.
Previous: Fantastic experience with Elxai today. Needed some follow-on services from their initial installation. Most important was the installation of three TVs on wall mounts, plus sound bars. Anthony and Israel were outstanding. They surveyed the locations, gave me recommendations that turned out to be an even more perfect job! Even better than I had asked.

Jeff in customer support is in a word “amazing”....always willing to help, always patient, always committed to figuring out the issue and getting it resolved ASAP. As all of us deal with a ton of phone interaction customer support, Jeff sets the standard for excellence. He is a huge reason we continue to update and add to our system, he is always there to help you “ figure it out”
In the field Kevin is top notch, super knowledgeable, willing to take as much time as needed to explain things and as importantly is going to be certain it is all done professionally and correctly, every aspect. I have watched him very quietly and subtly intervene when other contractors are about to mess something up or are really struggling to solve a problem and assist them to the benefit of the customer. He is also very honest and straight forward about smart investment and upgrades vs falling in love with the latest gimmick that you hear or read about.
