My Dad passed away recently and I was looking to have someone create a very special shadow box in his memory. One that would capture the essence of who he was, his tremendous appreciation for music, and his true passion of being a Professional Jazz Clarinetist. I only wanted the very BEST to take on this important project for our family! And for this reason I chose to go with Samantha Thompson who owns Canal Art and Framing. Her background and extensive experience truly are impressive! She not only exudes an intense passion for her craft, but her brilliance, expertise, artful eye, and precise attention to detail are to be commended! I had purchased a piece of artwork online without realizing that it didn't come framed. Since this was for a birthday present, I scrambled around looking for someone to frame a picture. I called up Samantha and explained my situation. She worked around my schedule and was able to frame the piece with a couple of days to spare! She was SO helpful and accommodating!

I want to mention that art is not my strong suit. I came in and asked a bunch of silly questions but Samantha made me feel comfortable with the entire process. She helped me pick out a couple of frames and gave some REALLY helpful suggestions on what works and what doesn't work. The final result is SPECTACULAR!
