Big Willie's Nashville — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

My girlfriend and I were excited to travel to Nashville and do as much as we possibly could, so we booked a kayaking tour on 09/25 at 4pm. We arrived at the instructed meeting point 15 minutes prior (as requested) and began to look around for the mobile trailer that Big Willies stated they worked out of. This trailer was nowhere to be found. We called the company number and it went immediately to voicemail. We waited at the meeting point for about 30 minutes, before another kayaking company approached us to ask if we needed help. We told them who we were waiting for and they stated that Big Willies had not shown up for any of the scheduled tours for that day, so it was at that point that we officially gave up on waiting. To this day, we have not received a call-back or anything. Unfortunately that was our last day in Nashville, so we did not have the chance to get out on the water. Our kayak tour down the Cumberland River was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip.

One thing that really stood out was their exceptional customer service. We forgot to get our pictures taken during the tour, but they went above and beyond by promptly sending them to us afterward. It was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated!

They provided all the necessary gear, including water to keep us hydrated under the Nashville sun. The tour guides were not only experienced but also made the entire experience fun and engaging. They shared interesting facts about the river and its surroundings, adding depth to the adventure.

This was a FANTASTIC experience! My girlfriend and I were visiting Nashville for just a couple of days, so we decided to give kayaking with Big Willie’s a whirl. It turned out to be a perfect, leisurely float down the Cumberland. It is worth noting that the staff takes care of all of the logistics for you - where you park is where you come off the water. To start the tour, they provide a roomy shuttle to pick customers up at a designated parking lot, and transport them to the insert point. The guides were very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. They are great folks, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor experience or simply an escape from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day.
