My experience with crossfit nashville started a few months ago when I knew I was coming to the area with my husband. I contacted crossfit nashville to see if it would be possible to do a drop in class. I outlined where and what I did currently to workout, which it is not labeled crossfit but has a similar format.
Preston was prompt to respond to my email letting me know I could drop in at anytime and provided the waiver to sign.
When I arrived early in the morning before the class was going to start Angie (I believe was her name) came out and greeted me and made sure I was all checked in. Once checked in and the preciously class finished up, she brought me and gave me a rundown of the class and what we would be doing that day .
It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend anyone considering dropping into crossfit nashville or even joining their gym, do it. Just from the one day of working out with them I could tell it was an incredible community of people.

Read moreLet me start by saying that I have NEVER been the type to love exercise. In fact, I hate it. It hurts lol. I have tried running, I've tried yoga, I've tried a million different work out regimens to try to find something sustainable. NOTHING compares to Crossfit and what I've gotten from this gym. There's a new workout every day, it's fun, and I feel so comfortable here. The coaches are INSANELY helpful and will work with a.n.y.b.o.d.y. I had zero experience in anything they teach, but now I feel like I've got a pretty good understanding. If you can't do something, they show you how to scale it down to something you're comfortable with and there's ALWAYS room for improvement. It doesn't matter if you've been an athlete all your life, or if you're relatively new to everything (like me lol), Preston and Dustin (the owners) will meet you with a smile every day to help you reach your goals! Truly a place for everyone, I hope to be a member here...

Coaches very welcoming, workout was good and a challenge, but warm-up didn't meet needs of shoulder work later on (general stretching, but no specific stretches to address load to come later - heavy deadlift and c2b pull-ups) needed to scale a little bit and was left to figure that out on my own - I was Ok do do that, but 6 years ago I'm not sure i would have been comfortable and didn't know if the gym had standard scales for certain movements or not - seemed like other regulars were confused as well. Totally expected more - just...
