Girlfriend's Jeep was overheating. I made some repairs in my driveway but still overheated and thought it was head gaskets. I was referred to this repair shop and spoke to the mechanic who gave me a verbal quote. So I call to speak to lady in the office who says to have it towed there on Monday and mechanic will take a look at it. Jeep gets towed there on a Monday. No phone calls to say it got there or if mechanic had a chance to look at it. I call 3 days later. Spoke to lady in the office who was confused as to who's Jeep it was that was sitting on their lot. This should have been my first red flag. At the same time, I talk to the mechanic who said he'd get to looking at it by the end of the week. Fast forward to the following week...GF receives a call from very angry office lady (turns out she is mechanic's wife) at close to 9PM at night who is pitching a fit that I was rude to her husband when I called asking about GF's Jeep. We were both joking with each other and I don't feel that I was rude at all. Well...office lady gives GF an estimate which was $1,000 MORE than what mechanic initially verbally quoted me. GF calls back the next morning and pays half the cost of repair up front. Office lady tells her it'll be 3 weeks until Jeep is done. They already had it for a week. The end of this past week would have been 3 weeks. GF calls a few days before the end of the week to ask about the status. Mechanic tells her heads would be off next day to send to machine shop for pressure test and then Jeep would be done THE FOLLOWING WEEK. That would make 5 weeks that they would have it. I make some phone calls to Jeep dealers in our area for estimates on repair cost of head gaskets. Come to find out the dealer estimate was $1,400 LESS than what these people were charging. GF calls SNG on a Friday (which would have been the end of the 3 weeks) to ask if anything had been done to her Jeep. Office lady says mechanic hasn't done anything to it. FINE...DON'T TOUCH IT. GF makes arrangements to tow it to a Jeep dealer. That was Friday...this is Wednesday and she has her Jeep back. Turns out it didn't need head gaskets at all. Repairs cost $470 which is a HUGE amount less than the $2,800 quoted by SNG. In the course of my dealing with these people they outright lied to both me and my GF and grossly overcharged for a repair that it didn't need but he probably would have figured that out if he had just taken the time to do a proper diagnostic on it. GF got her money refunded...most of it. They did charge for whatever diagnostics mechanic did to it. So good riddance. Never dealing with these people ever again. Please take my advice and go elsewhere for your next...
Read moreI’ve been going to Scott and Gina for years now. As a person who has only owned used cars and puts many miles on my cars due to my freelance work I absolutely trust them not only to be honest and fair in their diagnosis and repairs but for all advice on buying and maintaining vehicles. When you have a good mechanic (like a good doctor) you don’t make changes and just last week I had my car towed well over a hundred miles because I didn’t want anybody but Scott to diagnose what the problem was. They have also always made every effort to accommodate me even when I know it has been inconvenient for them. I anticipate having a friendly working relationship with SNG for many...

Called the office to change the type of service appointment that I needed for my vehicle and got told by the office ladies that it was "ridiculous" (her words) I was calling to change the service that I needed on my vehicle because the service that I now need is going to generate less income for the company. She was rude, inconsiderate, and short. It is not your customers fault that your company does not charge fees for things that it does. I am new to this area and this is my first experience with this company and I am grateful that I did not have these people working on my vehicle because they are more concerned about income then...
