Pros: Lovely Balconies, decent sized apartment located with easy access to 35W. Shopping is fairly close if you drive. Office staff are at least trying. Gas stove a plus. Grounds are kept nice. Ceiling fan
Cons: Laundry room gets so hot, is hard to breathe. You will need an app to use it. My apt was very far from trash, thereās only one place to bring it and that dumpster is the first thing you see walking out the main entrance. Why?. Pool was nice but the tile around it felt slimy so we only used it once in 2 years. Occasionally the hallway would smell like pot and Ax spray. The office knows.
I made the mistake of living on the 2nd floor.
Warning: You better like kids..other peopleās kids. The running upstairs made my tea pot lid rattle. (Apparently, they watched other peopleās kids at times so, at times, it was very loud). Basically, office said their hands were tied. I did remind them that my lease stated what and when was acceptable for noise. So, after this conflict, I decided not to renew.
Read the PARKING part of your lease!!!!! They towed my car during a pandemic for expired tabs. They did offer to reduce the fine. Yaye? Visitor parking closes after 10pm weekdays unless you managed to get a night pass before the office closed.
The only storage in the bathrooms is against the U pipe under the sink.
Entering an Apartment: āKnock-knock maintenance!ā key turns. No warning. One time, a man entered and asked why I was there! So asked him the same thing. Then they apologized and said they had the wrong apartment. They thought it was a vacant one. I also turned them out for no mask when arriving for a repair. I was told to just stand back but I said ācome back with a maskā and they SLAMMED MY DOOR BIG TIME. I never asked for a repair again until move out.(except water from above for that truly was an emergency.) We Were given advance notice for city inspections and toilet leak testing.
Basically, it is not a quiet complex, if that is what you seek. You are not always given a heads up when they enter your home. It is an old building getting cosmetic updates. The office is usually friendly and I always felt I was able to express myself. That said, if they can enforce your lease for parking.. then they should enforce it for noise and pot. College kids would...

I have only lived her for about a month. The process has been smooth and easy. The office management are respectable and answer in a timely manner. I had multiple questions for them before my move-in date especially dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. I would highly recommend living here.
Management is always looking to improve the complex. For example, I believe they are working on having numbers outside of the local area work with buzzers. I currently have an outside area code and it does not work with the buzzer, but i know it's on their to-do list to improve on this. Another example is a potential community room and gym.
Apartment Review:
The only issue and its not the fault of management, is that the walls can be thin and you can hear footsteps and the outside noises. That being said this is an apartment complex, not a house/home so that is to be expected. Otherwise, I have not had any other issues with the apartment itself. Appliances seem to be work as expected.
Neighbors Review:
Neighbors around you are very kind. I have had to drag some heavy boxes on my own however, when a neighbor is nearby, they will ask to help instead of walk pass you. I appreciate their respect. Everyone is very respectful here and will open doors for you if you have your hands full. I wouldn't say it's like a Cheers bar, but you can expect human decency in this complex.
Location Review:
I do enjoy there is a shell station nearby. I suppose now that we are in a pandemic and have a stay-at-home order, I wish there were more walking paths towards a park or a villa with shops and restaurants. There are parks nearby with a 5-10 minute drive/bike ride (which i do not own a bike) not too far to get to that area. Again not the fault of the complex itself. It's just location. The drive is not bad at all to get to a grocery...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe complex would be nice if Angela, the resident manager wasn't in charge. She's a younger manager and they are the ones to be on a power trip often it seems. Other residents warned me about her bishy ways and boy did I learn the hard way. A Pakistani family also warned me. Seems most of the pple who have issues with her personally munipilatitive bishy ways are pple of color. The place she treats like her prison with all the rules and different prices for rent per tenant for example. Any where she can find a way to make more money off you she will do it! So be careful with the parking which is a definite money grap tactic. The parking lots are hudge enough for pple to park whereever they want but no, they have to make money!!! They tow your car then laugh at you! I should take her and the tow company to court for their preditory practices. Get on her bad side by defending yourself against her policy's she enforces more on some then others and you best plan to move out soon after because it won't get better. The complex looks nice but the person in charge ANGELA, has major issues and stays on a power trip so don't trust her she's a liar! She told me herself tenants threaten her.....Trust and believe, that kind of thing doesn't happen to managers who are more on the side of having understanding, compassion, and general kindness that's consistant with no trickery...
