Perkins was fabulous on this day. I had their trio lunch special for $9.99. You can pick 1 item from any of 4 categories; soup, 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad, and pie. I had a 1/2 french dip (awesome), 1/2 chicken tender melt, and 1/2 fried chicken salad. All 3 were up to my lofty expectations. The service was good even though the restaurant was busy. I was even given a slice of pie to go for free since it was my birthday!

I do not think I have felt more uncomfortable, and more angry at restaurant in my whole life. I visited this location Friday December 2, 2022. It was evening, right around the 8:00pm window. Me and my roommate decided to stop by Perkins for something to eat.

We walked in and were greeted by the very warm and pleasant Diane. She was very very professional and polite. Excellent customer service, and she would be an incredible asset to any company and any team.

As for the server, I have much to be desired. When our first server approached us, she approached with an attitude. Was not at all kind, was very rude, and had absolutely zero manners. We were ready to leave at this point just from her attitude problem.

We remained calm and patient. She asked if we were ready to place a food order, and we said we needed a minute. She literally walked away. And then came back later on to take our food order. When she came back, she took my roommates order. I’m very indecisive and decided to wing it. I had my menu propped so that the server could see what I was referring to, and I was pointing to the menu. She stops me right in the middle of my sentence and says “are you flipping me off? I’m done with this. I’ll go get you another server.” She proceeded to storm off and tell Diane at the front of what had happened and referred to the clothing we had been wearing to properly identify us to Diane as if we were criminals just trying to order some comfort food.

Diane proceeded over to our table, and moved us to another table in a very polite and respectful manner. We were very very embarrassed because of how the waitress had just treated us, so it was very appreciated that Diane did not treat us with the same amount of disrespect as her coworker.

I do want to mention that Diane made me aware that the employee did have a tougher group prior to us, but that does not excuse her behavior, or make it ok that she treated me with the disrespect she did. It is a leader’s responsibility to define what excuses they allow to dictate their employees behavior and decisions at work.

I’m incredibly disappointed that the leadership team at this location is ok with employees treating customers this way. And maybe they are not fully, as Diane was such a kind soul. However, as I stated previously, the other employees show little emotion, little drive, and have no respect for the customers they serve.

I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy go here. I wouldn't even want them to receive the disrespect and down right...

Honestly I am completely livid with the service! Tried calling for at least, and I cannot stress enough on the ‘at least’ part, 30 minutes straight. Got to a point I began calling back to back! Even got the 2 ring and done a few times. I am now sitting in the parking lot a 1:00am because I had to come place the order. That isn’t even the part that got to me. I was told when I walked through the door it would be a couple minutes. Stood there for an additional 10-15 minutes had a few people hop in front of me, as if that’s not rude enough I called from within the store just hoping it didn’t ring or someone picked up but I couldn’t hear it on my end. But no, just employees ignoring it! Even the server commented and I quote “That phones’ been driving me NUTS and I ain’t getting it!” Here’s the best part, he was speaking to me as I held the phone down just hoping they’d answer for Pete sake! I completely get when things are busy, trust me. But when things get busy pick up the phone and request a hold. I didn’t want to leave this review because I actually like this server! But this is unacceptable! I’m not making this for people to read it and think “oh this is awful I’m not going here!” No, I’m writing this so the head of this operation can read it and correct this issue. But I doubt it seeing as how this is not the first, nor the second, nope, not even the third time this has occurred to me but the forth! Yes, the forth.
