I worked with Justice this visit. She was extremely knowledgeable. More so than my last visit. When my favorite brands were out last time the member didn't have any alternative options. He only apologized that it was out. This time she had me wait then came back with 3 options I found comparable to my favorites. To me this meant she was listening. The only thing I want to mention is on one of my visits, I had just made it to the counter from the lobby and before I could get in good, one of the staff came to me telling me I need to take my hood off.. well damn, can I get in good? This visit I was telling Justice what I wanted as we walked to the back. She immediately told me they were out of the flower I was looking for and gave me an alternative. I called to tell my mom so she can approve the change and the staff member came over as soon as I called to tell me if I need to take a call then I need to go back to the lobby. That's insane especially for people shopping for others. My mom can't go with me due to health reasons which is why she wasn't there. So in order to shop for others I need to see what is in inventory, go back to the lobby to make a call, then get let back in to finish shopping??? If I had my ear buds it probably wouldn't matter but I also don't like to be made out to feel like I'm on some shady stuff especially since I have visited multiple times and you have my ID. There are other dispensaries I have visited and me calling or having my hood from my coat on because it was cold has never been an issue. This may be my last visit to the store especially with the amount of dispensaries all around. If they have this many rules it would be feasible to post them up instead of having 1 person job to run around enforcing invisible rules. Justice was a great knowledgeable staff person and you should definitely ask for her if you choose to visit. I never see the same person when I visit so hopefully she is...
Read moreTerrible experience, we walked out without buying anything and went to a different dispensary.
After waiting a while in the waiting room and watching employees allow a regular to skip the line, once we finally got in our bud tender was rude. When he asked what we were interested in and we said it was our first time and that we wanted to see what JARS had to offer, he condescendingly said something like 'Wow!! You guys have no clue!!? Really..?' and aggressively tried to upsell me pretty hard over a 10$ difference on a bag of shake. I asked to see their cheapest shake to start and he handed me what he said was a 30$ bag of shake very clearly priced 39$. He said this was their cheapest option for shake, although I saw shake priced at 29$ on the wall. He said that wasn't shake however it's literally labeled shake. When I asked to see the 29$ shake he said "Your not really going to smoke that are you?" Can I not compare your products without being scolded? Rubbed me the wrong way when I ask for the cheapest shake and you give me what is very clearly not the cheapest shake, on top of rounding DOWN 10$ to make it sound cheaper instead of just saying the actual price. Bud tender thought I was an idiot and wanted to get all the money he could out of me. Don't try and guilt trip and up sell your customers- If your own bud tenders don't want to smoke your product why are...
Read moreI am finally writing this because Frankie has reminded me, frequently, and with increasing intensity, that I said I would. So here it is:
Frankie is an exceptional lead. She manages the floor with the kind of calm efficiency that makes you wonder if she’s actually powered by batteries or just pure willpower. She’s organized, patient, and somehow manages to answer the same question 50 times a day without snapping, which I personally think is a superhuman trait.
Her work ethic is unmatched. She leads by example, sets a solid standard for everyone on shift, and manages to do it all without being overbearing, which is honestly impressive.
As a budtender, I’ve noticed that she’s knowledgeable, clear, and consistent. She knows the products, she knows the people, and she knows how to make even the most indecisive customer feel confident and treats them just the same. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen a customer leave with a smile on their face after being helped by Frankie, I wouldn’t need to worry about tips.
Working with her makes the shift go smoother, the day go faster, and the vibe feel less like work and more like a team that actually functions. She keeps things professional but relaxed, and the store runs better when she’s on. I appreciate the help that she has been for me as a budtender.
So there, Frankie, you can stop reminding me yet again to leave...
