Great products, great deals, very nice employees. BUT MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK THE MATH ON BULK ORDERS. UPCHARGING GALORE. Love this stores products, sales, and atmosphere out of all of the stores in new Buffalo. I buy in bulk because I’m out of state and have noticed my two times going here over charges ranging from $35-$50 both from the same bud tender. Because I drive so far and order so much I’m meticulous with how much cash I bring so I do all the math before hand including the 16% tax. THEY DO NOT GIVE BULK ORDER RECEIPTS. I think this is a mistake and allows upcharging. My first time noticing the upcharge I was too nervous and shy to be that Karen and say something. SO I PAID IT, after already tipping the guy $20 🙃. But this time I said something. Especially because it was the same guy making the same “mistake”. Im not saying he was pocketing the extra money but it would be so easy for them to do so! Example: register (that customer can’t see) says total $452.72, guy tells customer it’s $490.25 but just give him $490 and he’ll call it good. No receipt given. Customer leaves thinking they saved .25 cents. Hmmm… did the guy put in the register (saying total $452.72) that I paid $490 and he just kept the change? This is the only way that I can think that wouldn’t unbalance the registers at the end of the shift. Customers would be totally unaware because they never receive a receipt. This was my favorite spot. Went once a week regularly, once they opened. I had genuinely great experiences, except the last two times. I went with my husband a couple weeks ago, the experience was left lacking for sure, we had a female bud tender and let’s just say she wasn’t super friendly. I had a girls trip planned to go to trap stars, I talked them up big time. But, we ended up with the same female bud tender I had last time. Only THIS time, she was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes at us, got super huffy over having to do anything. Told the female bud tender next to her “girl I gotta talk to you once they leave” pointed at us and rolled her eyes. I was super embarrassed by her treatment, I was talking the store up big time, only to feel downright uncomfortable and embarrassed. One of the girls I came with said I’m not dealing with her and went and found a guy bud tender. Everyone I brought there and dealt with her, said never again! I will never come here again. I told my husband once I got home, and now he wants nothing to do with trap stars. All it takes is one bad attitude to ruin everything for customers. I visited your dispensary a werk ago. Ive been to pretty much all the dispensaries in New Buffalo so far. Ill start by saying Trap Stars is the WORSE place ive visited. My budtender was horrible. Every strain i asked about thats clearly on your site , he said we were out of super quik w/o checkng. He acted like i was gettng on his nerves. Its not my fault ur site is not updated. 2nd i called before comi g all the way frm Milw and the receptionist said Entire Store 50% off for 1st time customers. I get there and my dreadlock budtender says 50% is only on certain strains.ImPISSED. false advertising. 3rd. I still went ahead and ordered the Gastro Pop which is my Fav strain. I noticed trapstars grow their own weed strains and your Gastro Pop is HORRIBLE. Doesnt resemble the original at all. Waste of money. It normally comes from High Society or Hytek.
