I want to personally take you back to when you were a young kid and it was the holiday season and you were going into FAO Schwartz. That feeling of euphoria and Goosebumps and holiday wishes all coming true is exactly how I felt going into Vibe cannabis in New Buffalo Michigan. I was greeted politely at the front door and they took down some personal information and my driver's license. It was almost like waiting behind a closed curtain waiting to go on stage. When you actually go into the store it is something like I have never seen in a dispensary in the state of Illinois. Walls and walls and walls of edibles and flower and pre-rolls. It was pure heaven. The store had approximately 10 employees on the floor and I would say 10 customers so it would seem quite busy. I was called on next by (Jake) my personal BudTender. I don't judge a book by its cover, but I could tell this dude knew his shit. He got right to the point asked me what I'm interested in what I'm looking for. Jake was very knowledgeable and informative and was able to recommend items I've never tried before. We got to also do some small talk and I'm very sorry to hear Jake was a Michigan Wolverines fan but this was not a deal breaker. The promotions that this store offers is off the charts. I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled to see how many items I purchased for under $100. I would highly recommend going to vibe in New Buffalo Michigan over any dispensary in Illinois or even possibly in Michigan as well. I plan to return to this dispensary in the near future and also recommend it to fellow friends and family who may use recreationally...
Read moreThis is the second time I came here and honestly wasnât as happy this time around. Apart from the 25 minute line which was meh especially for a Wednesday afternoon, my budtender was Annetta. Iâll be lying if I said, I had the most pleasant experience. She seemed very short with patience and annoyed at most questions I asked. She was also incredibly rude when delegating where I should stand while she obtained inventory around the dispensary (as if I was well versed in the way they go about restocking and mapping things in their dispensary.) It felt almost detrimental to add things of different varieties (concentrates versus flowers or edibles) because of the distance she had to walk or delegate for me to stand at. She put very minimal effort up until the very end. I had to literally ask her to recite what was in each bag at the end of the transaction. Her demeanor seem to have lifted once she realized that I was going to give her a tip, despite her inadequate service. Good thing there are dozens of other dispensaries within a driving distance that seem to be more receptive towards people who are willing to spend good money. The budtender the first time I shopped was wonderful, engaging and kind. Had I realized they were working today I wouldâve definitely requested him over Annetta. As a person who also works in this industry, I can see why one unpleasant experience could be such a turn off to an...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting Vibe Dispensary during 420 weekend, and unfortunately, the experience didnât live up to expectations. I anticipated it being busy due to the holiday, but the organization and customer service was really disappointing. I waited in line for several hours just to be called to a register where the staff (Cashier: Kaneasha Farmer) seemed overwhelmed, impatient, and frankly, uninterested in helping.
There was little to no communication while waitingâno updates, no water offered, and no one checking in on the long line of customers outside. Once inside, things didnât improve. The interaction at the counter felt rushed and cold, like they just wanted to get through people as quickly as possible, which is understandable on a busy dayâbut it still shouldn't come at the expense of basic courtesy or professionalism.
That said, I do want to acknowledge the owner, who made a genuine effort to thank customers at the end. The goodie bag he handed out was a thoughtful gesture and showed appreciation for everyoneâs patience. I respect that. However, it doesnât quite make up for the poor service leading up to that point.
This couldâve been a great experience, especially for a first-time customer, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. I appreciate the hospitality shown while exiting the facility, but based on how the rest of the visit went, I wonât...
