Dollar General — Local services in New Harmony

Love the dollar store has lots of items. There is one cashier who you have to wait on everytime she is working. The 1st time was a computer issue she didnt know how to fix so she was running around the store gathering up the prices of each item each customer was purchasing then manually entering in prices .she waited till there was a line backed up half way down the store before calling for help.then had to wait for her to restart computer. Today I waited 20 mins at register and she was no where to be found .there was 2 more customers ready to checkout as well. The cashiers...

Went there on a date because it was the only place open in New Harmony that had ice cream. Ended up buying batteries, shampoo, and some kind of toy balloon filled with slime (in addition to the ice cream). Enjoyed a very pleasant, respectful kiss in the parking lot, though I should mention that this is not a service of Dollar General or its employees. It was more of a BYOK situation.

9/10 would kiss and buy ice...

So glad to be able to buy necessities in New Harmony again. The store is neat and everything is always put away. There's plenty of parking and the staff members are friendly and helpful.

I understand the historic town viewpoint, but PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIVE HERE. If they can have a DG on Roanoke Island (which they do), I believe our sensibilities...
