While visiting the City of New Orleans, we stopped by Mt. Olivet to take care of some business and to visit our family grave site. We had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Albert Delaney, who found it not robbery to escort us personally to their new office which we could not locate (the old office building had been torn down while the site was being renovated). He could have easily given us directions or had a staff walk us over but he added that personal touch by escorting us himself. That let us know that he knew the importance of providing excellent customer service. It didn’t stop there, after interacting with the front desk, Paula McFarland, continued to provide that same type of “excellent customer service” that we experienced from the GM. I would tell anyone who needs this type of service if you don’t go to Mt. Olivet, where not only do they show you that your business is greatly appreciated, extend compassionate and caring service, and treat you as though you are part of their family, you are missing out. For over a year I have been waiting for the staff to place the headstone I ordered in July 2023 on my Grandmother's graveside in Mount Oli et cemetery. I have talked to numerous persons, made numerous complaints, had numerous promises made that the headstone would e placed and to date they do not even know where the headstone is. It is unbelievable that they are so incompetence that they cannot fulfill their obligations but I am out of pocket almost $2000 dollars. Even worse I have been told they are the only persons I can go through to have this done! It ia a shame that they are allowed to cause the type of anguish they are causing me when in good faith I came to them to handle this sensitive matter and they dropped the ball...
