Walgreens — Local services in New Tazewell

My doctor was going to prescribe me a creme for 2 weeks that my health plan does not cover. Called Walgreens pharmacy to see if a generic or OTC medicine was available. Got female that answered,told her what I needed, she said I would need a prescription to get a price. I told her that it showed on line at $127, so I ask what her price was,she again said I can't tell you without a prescription,I gave her the name of medicine, she said what is your birthday,I said I don't have a prescription,so they do you need my birthday,just tell me if they make a generic or an OTC,she said " I don't have time to fool with this ", then hung up on me. Called back got different pharmacist, ask her, she said it's $238,no generic available,why the 1st rep wouldn't tell me I have no ideal. Anyway ,called Food City Pharmacy,they had it prescription at $128, so don't fool with rude people at Walgreens,go 1/2 block farther and get nice people with a lower price. If you look closely most of the 4 and 5 star reviews are 5 and 6 years old,most in the last year are 1 and 2 star. Makes me think the old pharmacist left and the new ones are...

They have been giving me 20 partial pills until they say the rest comes in every other month and this month I get a partial on my alprazolam ..Xanax and had 38 well every time they got them in I went straight and picked them up this month they wouldn't let me pick up the rest of my meds when they come in said they wasn't due this is the first month I've had this problem this bad and me and my husband are leaving to go to Michigan to help our son and I really needed them so I had to call my insurance company and go through all kinds of trouble they even made my insurance call my doctor and when I finally got them I get home and check my other prescription and they shorted me didn't give me 80 of my neurontins so now I got to call this morning and complain about that I've never had so many problems in my life I'm 63 years old and not able to drive back and forth to the pharmacy 10 times a month...I've been going there for years and not had these problems it's...

They had trouble running the meds through insurance so I was not able to pick it up the day it was filled. They made me call my insurance company. The insurance company said they were running it wrong and told me what that needed to do to fix it. I called them back and they fixed it. I told them I would be there the next day to pick it up. When I went to pick it up at the drive thru they said there was a glitch in their system and that I needed to drive to the back of the line. I went inside instead. They were frantically checking all the prescription bins looking for the script. They then told me it was never filled. I had received many calls and text messages stating it was filled and ready. So they lied to me several times then the girl at the drive thru said, “I was too stupid to understand what a glitch was and that I was the problem not them.” Switching prescriptions...
