COMPLETE JUNK, do NOT buy from Wayfair, they are going to try to resell this and it open box with limited return options. Furthermore they discriminate against the disabled only offering FedEx wanting me to box it up and go out to a library to print out a label when I in bed written with neurological nerve diseases, on the injury and a shoulder injury I will be reporting them to DOJ as well as the Illinois and Ohio Department of human Rights for violating the laws and policies of ADA, Americans with disability act, that obligates businesses to follow laws. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), specifically Title III, businesses that provide goods and services to the public are required to make reasonable modifications to their policies, practices, and procedures to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities. This includes accommodating customers who, due to their disabilities, cannot comply with standard procedures.
Key Provisions Relevant to Your Situation:
Reasonable Modifications (28 C.F.R. § 36.302): This regulation mandates that public accommodations must make reasonable modifications in policies, practices, or procedures when necessary to afford goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations to individuals with disabilities, unless such modifications would fundamentally alter the nature of the goods or services provided.
Auxiliary Aids and Services (28 C.F.R. § 36.303): This regulation requires public accommodations to furnish appropriate auxiliary aids and services where necessary to ensure effective communication with individuals with disabilities, unless doing so would result in a fundamental alteration or undue burden.
Prohibition of Discrimination (42 U.S.C. § 12182): This statute outlines that it is discriminatory to exclude or otherwise deny equal goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, accommodations, or other opportunities to an individual because of their disability.
By not offering alternative return methods or assistance, especially when the return is due to a damaged product, Wayfair may be failing to comply with these ADA requirements. Citing these specific provisions in your communication may help in advocating for the accommodations you need.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a dachshund shaped outdoor rug from Wayfair in June. After two weeks on our newer patio, rust dye from the rug stained our patio with a permanent dachshund stain. I contacted Wayfair almost immediately and my case was transferred to Tyler T in the property damage department. My husband spent two days scrubbing the pavers with Dawn, then a power washer and then oxyclean with no results. My husband is almost 70 years old with two bad knees. He should not be on his knees scrubbing floors but had never dealt with a situation like this. In retrospect we should have made Wayfair clean up the mess with a proper contractor. The only thing Tyler for us was to forward our case to MDR Trading Co who said that 100s of people who purchased the rug did not have our problem. It just so happens that I know 3 other people with our rug. One person keeps it indoors but the other one had the same problem. I suggested to Tyler that their website needs to be updated to an indoor rug or taken it down. Wayfair has ignored me and someone else could have our same experience. Not a surprise. Finally, we purchased a paver cleaner for $37. My husband was very careful but the stain is still there. This week we realized that the cleaner got on my husband's shoes were tracked onto our wood floor. it will cost $1,500 to repair. Our contractor said the cleaner caused a reaction on our wood floor. Tyler has taken no responsibility and closed the case. We know absolutely nothing about repairing pavers and Tyler knew nothing. Wayfair should have taken responsibility on this damage from the beginning so two seniors were not on our knees doing the work for Wayfair. Tyler said to find two quotes but we had no idea what type of company to contact and we were not given any help from Tyler. Now we are stuck with a stained patio and a stained wood floor while Wayfair has lost very good customers. I just reviewed many complaints about Wayfair. Wayfair told Better Business Bureau that they refunded me $43 for the rug. What happened to the fact that there was $2,000 in property damage dept and their property damage dept reneged that they would make...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhy do people waste time to post a review even before actually trying something or visiting a place is just bizarre. It is pointless and unhelpful. There are reviews a month prior to opening stating they "are excited" for the opening. How is this helpful? Anyways, vent over. Here is the review of an actual visit.
Absolutely, in a time where shopping means resorting to online avenues, it is definitely a happy feeling to see and visit a new brick and motar store. The place is pretty large and both floors boast an incredible amount furnishings galore. It is so much better to see and touch what you may be interested in purchasing rather than gambling on it online. The store is pretty much Ikea+Home goods. While some items are on sale or marked affordable, most other items are maked up very high. For example, they have accent pillow/cushions ranging from $20 to $168! $168 for an accent pillow? Why would anyone invest this much of their income on an accent pillow? Trust me folks, fabric and labor abroad is still very, very cheap! For any place including big box stores like Wayfair to charge $168 for a 18Ć18 pillow or $50 for a small sized candle is just not attractive. Like many others, we too walked out without purchasing a single item. The quality is just what anyone can expect nowadays, unfortunately, cheap. No intregrity. Though some items did come with a "trust" brand tag, that may be worth money, most items are cheap quality products and esthetically pleasing only. There is a rounded top coffee table priced under $300 for example that looks very organic and wood blend made.. So, I decided to lift it up a bit to see the workmanship and quality. I thought it may have some weight to it due to the way it looked. The entire coffee table probably weighs 15-20 pounds and this is a generous estimate. Even with synthetic wood, the weight part did not add up. So in my inspection, anyone checking closely will see the glue and improper tiny nails used to put it together. What a joke. In order for any buisness to work and prosper, companies need to be realistic about the price point and quality control of...
