BUYER BEWARE!!! Purchased a camera for $300 via Amazon. The camera NEVER worked when received, unfortunately put on shelf in office and forgot to send back within 30 day return period. Spoke with owner, Steve, who was quite rude during most conversations. He said he could repair (for a charge) and return to us, but would not refund since past the 30 days. Sent camera to them for repair on 02/16/17. Contacted owner on 02/27, 02/28, 03/09, 03/28, 04/11, 05/08-same old song and dance each time, waiting on parts (bad electronics on camera) will be repaired and returned to us in (2) weeks. NEVER happened! Finally called again today (07/11/17)-still waiting on parts from Japan. I told them to refund us or send the camera back to us. Cambridge World is one of those old school camera store that's pack to the brim with film cameras and accessories. You will most likely be overwhelm when you visit, but just have an open mind and you might pick up something new.

I decided to look for a lens hood and filter for my Mamiya SIX IVB as I was spending a weekend in the City. Robert was so patient to go through his inventory to find the correct size adapter and lens hood for my vintage folder, while he could not find an orange filter that I was looking for after 20 minutes of search, I did settled on a yellow filter.

I have had nothing but the best customer service from these guys, from Steve especially. My story: I screwed up by ordering the wrong camera lenses. I ordered the sigma trio, but made a mistake by ordering lenses for the Cannon cameras instead of the Sony cameras. Cambridge world was nothing but accommodating, even though I had opened the boxes and discarded them. Not having the factory boxes, we worked out something that was fair for both parties, and they made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time.
