Cloud Nine Beauty Salon — Local services in New York

I am not a person that gives reviews but If I could give them more stars then I would so they get a 5+. I have had bad experiences with the few "locticians" that i have let touch my hair so when I walked in yesterday, I was not very hopeful/trusting. It turned out to be the best decision for me. I paid, paid but I'm still thinking that it was worth it. You pay for what you get and I received excellence with the service I asked for , the atmosphere and customer service. I was greeted by Ariel who was sweet and respectful. Claudia performed the surgery on my hair. I say surgery because I walked in a hot mess. My spirits were down because my beautiful locs were damaged by a combination of health issues, the wrong hands and giving up amongst other things. As I sat in that chair, I watched Ariel and Falcon deliver the same excellence that I received from Claudia to others and felt as if I've been there before because they made it that comfortable. I went here to get my loc parts fixed and they did just that! Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable. From the initial consultation over the phone to meeting in person the transition was so smooth, easy and she was very caring. The music was great and i appreciate how fast and thorough the service was as I did travel two hours to get there. They were able to take care of my locs with a great wash, retwist, and style just right. I was So impressed with how everyone helped to comb out the locs that needed to be corrected and restored. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who is unsure of their locs and need help making sure their loc journey stays on track and is well maintained! Had a great time at Cloud Nine Beauty Salon. They're attentive and everyone knows what they're doing. Kerry-Ann went out of her way to ensure that I was comfortable talking me through the process and awaiting my response. After she was done with washing my hair I felt light. Throughout the process I felt like I knew them, the vibe was just right. Claudia, thank you. You did an amazing job, you took your time and you gave my head/ locs some love.
