I was eating my sandwich inside Subway at 980 E 233 St on Thursday August 6, 2015 around 3:45 pm when I realized my iPhone was missing. I remembered i left my iPhone on the counter next to the cashier. I approach the cashier and asked him for my iPhone and he and the manager began to curse at me. They told me to get out the store and that they did not have my iPhone. i then step outside the store and used my mother's phone to call my phone and in my car the phone rang because i have bluetooth in my car. This prove to me that my phone was in the vicinity. I then call again and the phone now went to voicemail. Whoever had my phone now turned it off because they realized the phone was still on. I approach a police officer who was in the area and told him that the cashier took my phone when i was inside and the cashier refused to give it back. I also told him how the manager got upset and cursed me out because i told him his cashier took my phone. The police officer told me to wait outside and he went inside the store and there was no other people inside the store while he was inside. He spoke to the manager and the worker. He then came out with an iPhone and he asked me if it was my iPhone. I told him it was my iPhone. I gave him a hug and thank him for retrieving my iPhone from the cashier. I'm 7 months pregnant and i'm so grateful for that officer to retrive my iPhone from that cashier. The officer told me to make a complaint with the franchise and not to patronize that store anymore. I made a complaint the same day when I got home. I will not be going to that subway anymore! The officer did not arrest the cashier, but i did not ask him to make an arrest. I was just so happy to get back my phone. Once again thanks to the...
Read moreI placed an online personal order and when I went to pick it up I showed them the confirmation email that it was already placed and payed they said that wasn't enough i showed him the my subways app that shows the receipt but he said he needed my state ID to pick up my sandwich. I explained to him that I felt uncomfortable showing them (two men) my state ID and the so the store manager Fahad stated he can cancel my order and that I should place it in the store. My order hadn't even been started on. The second guy stated people have been stealing orders at that location but like I mention to them I would understand if it was Uber Eats or Door Dash but this was my personal order that I placed via the subways app. Terrible customer service by the so called store manager Fahad to assume every customer that walks into the store is a crook. This should be handled properly i went to subways to make a purchase not to be treated in that way. I will also be posting this on Yelp so that everyone is aware of how this location treats its PAYING customers. Also, you have camaras in the store, I walked in at 2pm and when Fahad walk out he was annoyed by me like if I was disturbing him. Overall terrible...
Read moreCustomer service training is badly needed. I visited the subway restaurant at 980 east 233 street on august 11 2018 @ 5:40 pm. There were 2 men serving. I informed them that i was told by a very pleasant young man that they were out of forks yesterday when i ordered my salad .. so today i informed them that i wanted two salads and i wanted to double the grill chicken ..i wanted 1 slice of jalopino peppers chopped in each salad .. the man told me i was asking for too much .. he even went on to tell me that he prepares his own food and that its my problem if i dont prepare my own .. i find this very rude and disrespectful because im paying my money and should be given quality service . Either train your workers or close this joint .. also make forks available for persons to eat . Signed a very...
