I stayed at this hotel at the end of March, going into April. I grew up in the Bronx, and while visiting family, I wanted a clean and safe hotel close by family and friends. I researched other Bronx hotels, and this one looked to be in the safest looking neighborhoods. I liked that I was able to get a 2 bedroom apartment style suite for myself and my young adult daughter. The chain had similar hotels in New Rochelle and NJ for cheaper rates, and since I wasn't driving, I would have probably spent more on Uber to get around so the Bronx was the best option. I loved the space, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the suite had two bathrooms. One in the ensuite in the master bedroom with the king bed and another adjacent to the other bedroom with the queen bed. The master bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower. The other bathroom was smaller with a bathtub/ shower combo. A con about the master shower is that it's slippery. There's no grips on the floor tiles in the shower, so you need to be careful when lattering soap on your feet to rinse immediately to avoid possibly slipping. The living room area has a pull out sofa, but I didn't use it. The sofa itself isn't comfortable for long sitting. You could tell which cushions were used more because it was sunken in on one side while the other side was hard. I remedied this by switching the cushions around. The kitchen area was fully stocked with pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, mixing bowls, colander, linens, coffee pot, and toaster. I went shopping for breakfast items and was able to make breakfast daily. The refrigerator is small but larger than the mini fridge in many hotels. My room was on the top floor, room 800, and we were a couple feet away from the elevator. You can hear everybody and everything, especially in the mornings. There was a family in one of the rooms, and you could hear a loud crying kid and the parent yelling for the kid to shut up every single day. On my 2nd day, I went out to a play, when I came back the bedroom was freezing. I realized that the window was open a little bit. I tried to close the window and realized that the windows can open all the way. This can be a serious hazard if a child figures this out or if a person decides they want to hurt themselves. I called the front desk, and they sent someone up to close the window securely, but I think they should find a way to make it where the window can't open so wide or not. I was scheduled to fly back to Austin early Sunday morning. On Sat afternoon, I received an alert from Delta that my flight was canceled due to severe weather. The front desk crew was amazing. I needed to book an additional day. I didn't want to pay the rate for the 2 bedroom for just one more day not knowing if the airline would reimburse me so I asked to book one more day on the cheapest room which would be a studio. They accommodated me, and the next day, as I was preparing to move into the smaller room, they called me and told me that I could stay in the larger room. I am totally appreciative and grateful. Since I also had to get a new flight, which was now scheduled later on Monday, I requested a late checkout. I was charged 100$ since I was technically still in the 2 bedrooms, but I didn't mind. They helped me to be comfortable during my stay. On Monday, check out is usually 12 noon, but it seems they didn't alert the new front desk clerk or housekeeping, so they kept calling me, asking me when was I checking out. I told them to check my bill bc I definitely had the bill that showed they charged extra for the late stay. I was checking out at 3 pm. Overall, my experience was above my original expectations. Many other hotels in the Bronx don't look too clean or safe. While it isn't far from local restaurants and stores, the blocks aren't easy to walk. There's limited sidewalks. If you drive, you won't have any issues. If you order food, they leave it downstairs for you to pick up. If I come back to visit, this will be my go-to hotel. I have already started recommending it to family and friends.

My sister booked a two night stay for my Birthday weekend 6/20-6/22/25. We are both from the Bronx but now live in different areas. We were pleasantly surprised upon entering by the beautiful and spacious lobby area which contained several lounge areas, a nice bar and dining area for breakfast. There was a snack area with drinks, food items and toiletries for purchase. By the elevators there was a nice size gym area and more lounging space. We were shocked and amazed when we opened the door to our MINI SUITE! It was beautiful! Very clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a fully stocked kitchen with a large countertop, a nice seating area with a desk and chair desk, a nice size TV, beautiful and comfortable bed and a beautiful large walk in shower! It was HUGE! It was beyond our expectations. We received excellent service from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! Kamyja and Donisha were wonderful!! They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one! The continental breakfast was lovely and served in a very clean and well kept area. Scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries and a self serve mini waffle station! Fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, hard boiled eggs, an assortment of fresh bagels and muffins, jellies, butter and cream cheese and a variety of juices, milks and delicious fresh hot oatmeal with several toppings to choose from! Donisha is the Kitchen Supervisor and does an amazing job in providing an array of delicious options for the guests. At checkout while learning it was my Birthday Donisha ran to get me a Birthday card and cupcakes! I was so touched by her thoughtful gesture. The staff in general were so friendly and welcoming. Our location was perfect for all we had planned in the area such as The New York Botanical Gardens, an event at Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Resort and City Island. I highly recommend this hotel! You won’t be...
