Cypress Hills Cemetery — Local services in New York

I recently called Cypress Hills Cemetery to locate my loved one. The person that answered was absolutely awesome. She was very patient, understanding and caring. She gave me the information and said when I did come to visit they would give me a map and show me how to get there. I asked if I could ask for her when I do go, she said yes and that her name is Olga. A couple of weeks later I did visit the cemetery and found Olga working in the office. She remembered our conversation and gave me a map with the directions, she was very kind and offered her condolences for my loss. I was actually thinking I would be given the information and be on my own. However it was totally opposite, she was very helpful, knowledgeable, and her voice and tone was that of an Angel. She made what was for me a very difficult situation totally manageable.

At the beginning, everyone is nice and professional. But once you have a complaint, their kindness and professionalism goes out the window. You are not informed that certain area gets over flooded when it rains or your loved ones gravesites were damaged. You ask to speak to someone in charged and get the run around, either on the phone or in person. The office managers need to be trained in how to deal with people emotions, especially at this time of vulnerability and sadness. Instead they brush you off and are told there's nothing they could do. If a person chooses this type of work, they need to have & show some kind of sentimental feelings. Unfortunately I had to move 3 hrs from where my loved one is buried.This is the second time I have come up on this situation. The bathrooms provided are disgusting to say the least. The first time, there was feces on the floor next to the toilet... A lot. The floor was wet and tissue was all over. Today the second time, there seems to be bodily fluid of the red kind on the toilet I ran again but after 3 hrs drive I had to try the men's bathroom and to my dismay it was just as filthy. Please management, do you even look in there? You have to do better than this , yes the public can be disgusting but if you cannot keep the bathrooms clean, I suggest you close them...
