Q Spa Nails on 5th Ave is way better, way more affordable and carries SNS nail set (this salon confirmed Q Spa does real and nails, that's what she's referring to in her response) they only charged me $35 for SNS plus tips

The woman, JoJo com-PLETELY ruined my nail bed. I went with my friend because she suggested them for SNS. During my friend's first visit, JoJo's husband do her nails and he did a fantastic job. He listened, was attentive and didn't aggressively push "up charges". I told JoJo I was THINKING about doing tips again. But maybe during my next visit; she aggressively filed down the tips of my left hand and all of the nails are weak and broken off and the nail bed of my right ring finger is 100% bruised. If you go in, I would definitely recommend JoJo's HUSBAND or the other associate. I went there on Sunday, the weekend of 4th of July in hopes of getting my nails done. However, as soon as I placed one foot on the front step, I tripped and nearly fell. I walked in and one lady just looked at me crazy. I approached another lady in the shop and told her I nearly fell coming in. She said "oh, it's ok." Like how you not going to take full responsibility and never apologize for your broken step? That would of been a lawsuit real quick. And when I asked if they do sns, but I would have to have my acrylic nails soaked off, she said they don't do that, I just left. My whole point is that they did not feel any remorse for the fact that I almost fell and injured myself. I wasn’t going to do this but I feel like it’s my responsibility to warn anyone who is considering using this establishment.

About a week ago, I visited this establishment for a gel pedicure, and gel acrylics. Staff informed me they do not do acrylics, and were more than happy to squeeze me in, even though they were pretty much booked for the Saturday in question. I was very happy and grateful they accommodated me.

The pedicure took about an hour, which was truly too long, however I do want to mention the pedicure results were initially beautiful and I was very pleased.

HOWEVER, the results although beautiful, did not last more than 4 days after the pedicure, one of the gel polish completely fell off by itself. I actually didn’t notice until my husband said something. I’m truly upset because I paid 50$ and for this to happen is...
