Im a ramen junkie, and love to try different ramen shops all over the world. I have decided to give it a shot after seeing all the high stars rating but........ Spoiler alert: Noodle grading Max 3-4/10

Appetizer: Karaage Fried Chicken Potion was small, breading too thick Taste: It's just ok, but it was juicy

Ramen: Tenichi Ramen (pork bone broth) Soup: lacks richness/thickness and flavor Noodle: generic yellow wavy noodles 🤔 Topping: normal, chashiu is okay. Garlic oil was used to compensate for the lack of actual pork bone flavor...

TanTan Ramen: lacks its suppose tantan taste and flavor. Soup is very, very thin again, not rich at all. Generic wavy noodles Topping: Naruto was present....a big minus for me 😔(strictly personal preference)

Honest opinion:

For people who have never tried rich and flavorful japanese ramen, this place can be good. However, if you are a ramen Junkie like myself, you will be very, very, very disappointed. You can usually tell if the shop spent the time preparing the soup base and the tare. The soup doesn't necessarily have to be thick and rich in all the shops but I didn't even taste any pork bone flavor other ppl stated either. So for all the Ramen Junkies just save yourself a trip and try other places.

For the business owner There are many tutorials even on YouTube on how to cook up a proper pork bone soup base and Tare. If you really want ppl to have an authentic taste of ramen noodle. Please use the time and effort to make an actual rich and flavorful soup. I don't think it takes that much more time and money from what you are spending...

‘‘Twas a chilly NY day when we stumbled upon Tenichi Ramen, and we are SO happy that we did! After a brisk, cold 2 mile walk around Prospect Park, we were looking for something to soothe the soul and warm the body, and we thought, “ramen is the way to go”. Tenichi offered exactly what we were looking for and then some! The ramen (I got the Tenichi ramen - YUM) and the toppings are so delicious (my husband wouldn’t stop raving about the kimchi in his ramen, and I was obsessed with my bok choy) and the serving size is generous too! (Because isn’t it just the worst when you run out of noodles too soon? That won’t happen here!). I was mostly expecting to be impressed by their ramen, but their apps really stood on their own two feet! I got the Buta Bun and the pork gyoza, both were SO fresh and divine, I DEVOURED IT. We ended our meal with a sweet treat, the mango mochi ice cream, courtesy of the generous and delightful owner, Teik. The texture was divine, and the sweetness level, pure perfection. The amazing food from apps to dessert, paired with the care and service from an individual who is passionate about his customers and food, is the wonderful experience that is Tenichi Ramen. It’s a must try. You will love it.

Thank you, Teik, for the delicious food and friendly experience! We’re sending our NY buddies your way!

Tenichi Ramen provides a remarkable dining experience centered around authentic Japanese cuisine, skillfully crafted to delight the senses.

The Rayu Beef Ramen Bowl showcases a rich and savory broth, meticulously prepared to create a depth of flavor that captivates the palate. Generously adorned with tender slices of beef, the dish is enhanced by the addition of sweet corn, a perfectly soft-boiled egg, and an assortment of fresh greens and mushrooms, contributing to both texture and freshness. The inclusion of spicy kimchi introduces a tangy complexity that elevates the overall experience, making this bowl both comforting and dynamic.

The Aigamo Bun Duck is an exemplary offering, featuring a light and fluffy bun that encases succulent, flavorful duck. Paired with crisp cucumber and accompanied by a side of pickled vegetables, this dish presents a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. It serves as an outstanding appetizer or a light meal, delivering a satisfying taste of traditional Japanese fare.

Tenichi Ramen excels in delivering a culinary experience that highlights the richness and intricacy of Japanese cuisine. Whether you seek a comforting bowl of ramen or a delightful bao bun, Tenichi Ramen stands out as a premier destination for...
