BEWARE…Don’t go here! Big mistake! Made an appointment 3 weeks before my daughter’s communion day for 9am. I get a confirmation from owner. Then closer to communion day I realize maybe 9 is cutting it too close because my daughter had to be at the church at 10:30. So I call the salon and explain my concern and owner with no hesitation says okay let’s move it to 8:30 to make sure we have enough time. I show up at the salon at 8:30 and salon is closed with gate down. I wait in my car to see give it a few more minutes and it’s now 8:45 and no one has arrived yet to open salon. I call the salon no answer at all. Yet that morning I did receive a reminder from salon confirming my appointment for 8:30. Finally at 8:55 salon opens and it takes me two minutes to walk in. When I walk in owner is working already on someone else’s hair. I explain my concern that it is now 9am and I need to leave by 9:30. Owner doesn’t seem to care and just tells me don’t worry another girl is coming. I asked couple more times because now I’m worried about time. The other lady finally came in at 9:20 didn’t start on my daughters hair until close to 9:30-the time I had to be leaving the salon. My daughter’s updo wasn’t done until 10am! And it was a horrible job bc they rushed it and weren’t able to take the time needed. I really wanted to walk out without paying…she charged me &60 for garbage work! Apparently you have to be known here for decent service. Made an 8:30 appointment via phone days ago (even confirmed via text) to then show up today to a location that wasn’t open. When the location finally opened 15 mins later only one hairdresser was in and already had a client. I was finally seen after 40 minutes with my daughter and we have to leave at 9:30. The inconsideration of a business to treat new comers this way will prompt me to always say “stay away from this salon like the plague” to every one I know in the neighborhood. I am almost excited to see the immature excuse and response from the owner as there is no way to make up for leaving us high and dry on communion day. I love my hair!!!! These women did an amazing job!!! Gave me exactly what I wanted. Shout out to Everything Hair Salon on Metropolitan. Their services were amazing. Definitely making this place my regular go to salon. They made sure I was always comfortable and happy. They were so sweet and polite they even ordered me food and picked it up for me. The place was clean and well kept. Most importantly they did an amazing job on my hair. Process took literally all day but she wanted to make sure I was satisfied and got the goal look I wanted and she achieved it.
