Juniper Valley Park — Attraction in New York

Juniper Valley Park !! How it reminds me of Gorky Park in Moscow... I would sit for hours and gossip with the boys of the old and proud KGB.... Now, you will find me with a few other ex-patriots looking at our bank books... All our assets are frozen.... They call us Russian oligarchs ....If they only knew... People think we are filthy rich...But we only have billions... not trillions... I try to spend tranquil moments at this park...So is my best friend ...my dog Icarus .... However, there are times I see a few tears in his eyes... "What is the matter my good friend" I asked him once "There is no park for me...only for you humans....and you have such a huge space, and so many fields" he answered me with a trembling voice of emotion ...... My dearest and faithful friend .... I am making a promise, that as soon as my assets and my billions are freed, I will make a beautiful park just for you and all your dog friends.... In the meantime, I ask the wonderful city of New York to put a fence around a small area, so my friend Icarus and his friends can play... If this wonderful city does not have the money, we the people in the surrounding area who have dogs will donate $1 each ...for the fence..... Tomorrow, another day just like any other day, you will find me sitting on a bench, bringing back memories of the wild parties in Monte Carlo... Icarus will be remembering himself running with a big bone in his mouth ..... but feeling like a prisoner on a leash.. Hey, wonderful city of New York .... isn't...

I just moved in Queens and went out for a walk accidentally run into this BEAUTIFUL Park!!! I walked all over park. To my amazed, I noticed that it's clean, organized and BEAUTIFUL!!! That's something not seen every day on a Park! If you are looking for a park to spend time with family and friends. This is it!!!you'll be in love with Juniper Valley Park. It has a vast sports venues..soccer field, baseball field, run track, basketball court, playgrpouds, etc..and of course, if you want to take the dog for a walk, THIS is the place too!!! If you like to go out for a walk at nights, this park is well illuminated at nights. There's also a spot for our elders where they can get together to chitchat, play their hometown Games.... Juniper Valley Park is just BEAUTIFUL!!!BTW, there are benches around the Park...and Public bathrooms.. All in all, Juniper Valley Park is a tidy, and well maintained Park. Can't wait to see the...

Just an overall GREAT PARK FOR FAMILIES & DOGS!!! There are alot of things to do in this Park. Handball, tennis, Baseball, track for running and also used for walking by many!

Park does have a bathroom, but open certain times during the day. Also, Park has some lighting after dark. Tons of huge trees and shady areas. Loaded with squirrels for our pets, and a beautiful walking path that takes you around WITHIN the entire park. THE SIDEWALK is also nicely done around the entire Park.

*Park has a GREAT CHILDRENS AREA, and also has SPRINKLERS on during the summer months. *ALOT OF MOMS, DADS, NANNIES THERE WITH CHIKDREN OF ALL AGES.

**LASTLY, during the summer months their is "Music in the Park." Check out the "JUNIPER BERRY," Magazine for schedules and other nice areas to visit near the park, I.e. 7-11, bakery, and pizzeria all within walking distance. Hope this review is helpful! Carry on and have fun...
