The Hair Salon I Do — Local services in New York

I got my first perm here a while ago and came back for another one today and loved it as usual. I was initially scared of getting a perm bc I didn't want to look too poodle-like but Rui did a great job making it looser and more casual. The curls also lasted a very long time and low maintenance. The first photo was taken today and the second photo was taken 3-4 months after my first perm and unstyled.

My brother also came for a haircut - he used to get his hair cut by Rui regularly at the place he used to work and followed him to this new place that he opened! Rui is very careful and friendly and listens carefully to what you want with your hair. He also provides tips on styling. The atmosphere is very warm, inviting, and clean. Would definitely recommend for all your hair...

I had an extremely pleasant experience in my first visit on a weekday morning The place is bright and clean I was greeted by Rui. I picked up positive energy and I felt comfortable. They welcome customers of all ages ( children young and older folks) and languages English Chinese and Korean

Rui, owner and stylist is skillful in hair coloring and cut for both male and females. He communicated with me without chitchatting too much that burdened me. I personally do not like to talk too much and just want to relax

My partner and I decided last minute to go to this place on a whim and was so blown away at the artistry and kindness of the workers. I wasn't planning on getting anything done but, I last minute decided to get a wash and blow out while waiting for my partner to get his haircut done (which ended up looking great). Rui gave a deep scalp massage and washed my hair. He gave me a blow out and curled my hair. I've never had such beautiful curls.
