Quiaufa's Kitchen — Local services in New York

I booked Chef Sherri's catering service for a high profile event at an institution catering to the international scholarly and NGO community, primarily affiliated with Columbia university. To give a sense of what I mean by high profile, the institution I'm referring to is closely allied with the Rockefeller family (They have a permanent seat on the board) and every living Secretary of State. So, nothing less than the best would ever be acceptable for an event held here. The event was African themed so we reached out to Chef Sherri based on preexisting familiarity with her work in this area. She did not disappoint. As the chair of the organizing committee for this event, I was heavily engaged in the planning process, and needed someone I could rely on to exceed our expectations with virtuosity and skill. Chef Sherri exceeded expectations to a remarkable degree. We were very particular about the cuisine for this event, so, she brought in generous samples from her menu for our board to sample and educated us about the craft she clearly brings to all her dishes. We familiarized ourselves and indicated what we wanted. The hardest part was not ordering everything! She showed up the day of the event, at what seemed like the perfect moment; she set up her dishes, oversaw the service and was exceedingly professional. I attended an affair catered by Chef Quiaufa. The food was quite delisious, and the presentation was beautiful. There was a fruit platter that was gorgeous, it was a shame to have to disturb it.
