Ok so I gave this place 3 Stars because while being there with my wife I've seen things that I would never thought I would have seen I served in the military for 6 as well as a young adult program coordinator in the shelter system but I do want to Note that while dealing with my afic situation they were the only ones to open up their doors to me and my loved one and allowed us to stay which there needs to be More shelters that allow couples to stay for a short period of time some of the staff are nice and some shouldn't even have the job when I was working in the shelter system I was a mandated reporter I've personally witnessed clients ask for medical services and be denied which me personally I don't think should be happening especially when they don't enforce the no drug policy they do crack fentanyl and other drugs as well as the violence level the staff intervenes after it's too late I saw an old lady that was pulled out of her chair into a choke hold that the police can't even use on people the old lady passed out and hit the floor before security could even do something it was already done and the other person who put the old lady into a chokehold was arrested and was back the next day this place can be a lot better and most definitely has the potential they get donations almost every day they have multiple organizations who comes and drops off food and supplies people who just donate out of the kindness...
Read moreThe place has no beds you sleep on chairs the floors are cleaned but remain dirty because of the people who live there. The food portions and the type they give are awful. They have showers, but I would recommend you wear sandals because people shit and beat off their minute pee-pee. There are rooms, but they are located in the back and are given to people who have certain medical conditions or mental problems. Yes, I lived there for 6 years.
