This was a great little experience on a spur of the moment attendance by a friend of mine. We attended the 'Rocking the Boat' FREE community rowing Saturday 06/10/23. The staff here was very friendly, courteous & happy. Everyone really makes you feel encouraged to be able to enjoy the activity on hand. After signing an e-waiver we were explained the rules & what to expect. Your provided life jackets for your rowing trip. Once in the row boat you can expect the staff to do most or all the rowing. Although I obliged somewhat as I appreciate the challenge. Moving upstream was challenging but fun. On the return w/the current was better. All in time we spent was around 45 mins- 1 hr I'd say. All free & on a beautiful day it was really great 😎👍😍💪

Another small peaceful park like Garrison Park. Unlike said park, however, it has more things to do; it has a boat launch and grill stations. It has a sprinkler area that's on during the summer, and you can see a good view of the Soundview neighborhood and Soundview Park on the other side of the Bronx River. Just a nice park to visit, and oftentimes, I visit here alongside Garrison Park and Concrete Plant Park in sequence. Cause while individually, there isn't much to do at these parks, together, they can become a...
