Hunts Point A Deli Crop — Restaurant in New York

Clean well lit and fully stocked with everything you would expect from a corner deli plus more. Good middle Easterns staff and workers and always laid back helpful and cheerful to the locals as well as the consistent customers that make this there daily stop all hours of the day. It keeps its doors open 24 hours which is common for a corner store and the food is always fresh and loaded for a satisfying meal. A little more expensive than other local stores around but it's worth it for the quality and consistency they provide. Keep showing face and soon enough you'll be one of the regulars and you'll have your name and usual orders ready as if you called it in. Good people good workers and a local favorite as you'll always run into someone from the neighborhood majority of the time. I've yet to show up there with the store being empty with a crowd of custromers inside as well as a local hangout spot outside the store. Pretty much there is nothing you can't buy there.

I have been going to this Deli since I moved into the neighborhood over 8 years ago. The Spanish Deliman/Cook has always been personable and on point with his orders to the point where he knows what you want and suggests it as you walk in with a greeting, laugh, and a smile. The Arab managers on the other hand can be dismissive and rude. In the past few years I had aquired an Emotional Support Dog, certified with his papers, who behaves better than a majority of their customers. One of them tells me I have to leave the dog tied up. I told him of my dog's status, and produced his ID which he didn't bother to look at and continued to talk down to me and raise his voice at me. I refused to leave and told him he can call the cops. But you can avoid that by educating yourself by reading the card and learning something new. He didnt even look at the card. But I held my ground and waited till my order was completed to leave. Great delivery service!!! Order is taken quickly over the phone but the food is not as ordered. Ordered Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad - Lettuce was drenched with dressing making the lettuce soggy and to top it off the chicken was cooked on the outside and pink in the inside. Another occasion ordered a pressed cracker jack whole wheat wrap and received a drenched wrap pressed on the outside nothing melted in the inside. No matter how well you describe your order they still cant get it right. would they stop to think before rushing everything out the door, they should ask themselves would I eat this. Oh one more thing they only carry romaine lettuce that is not green but yellow and the other alternative is a so called green lettuce for sandwich which is the greenest you will get from them, forget having options of mix greens, spinach, etc. They have potential but they need to focus on the food not only...
