The half-pint containers of 1 percent low fat milk distributed at my local senior center went sour long before their SELL BY date. I guess the rabbi's blessing does not keep the milk from curdling. More to the point, the SELL BY dates are obviously a scam. I'm sitting here with 5 half-pint cartons of sour milk with SELL BY (not USE by) dates of June 22 and it's only June 16, 2025. I also have a half-pint carton of sour milk with a SELL by date of June 15 which SHOULD still be good, but isn't. And another with a SELL by date of June 19 which is already sour 3 days ahead of its SELL by date. Let's put it bluntly: you are cheating your customers. It is known in Lakewood that your milk spoils pretty much as soon it hits the fridge and often even before that. Everyone says “do not buy golden flow milk, stick to pride of the farm instead”. I just threw out 3 Golden Flow milk bottles that I purchased yesterday with a date of July 17. Golden Flow's milk has been a disaster for the past year. I've had to throw out milk repeatedly due to spoilage before the expiration date. This recurring issue is frustrating and a waste of money.
