Close to overflow parking. No Boat Ramp, 50 meters+ from overflow parking to dock, further from normal parking. Path initially is small foot path gravel with open grass sides. Near dock is an accessibility ramp and stairs, ramp grade appears standard per ADA guidance. Sliding ramp/bridge to dock may be a bit steep when water is low. Seeking assistance from park ranger or bringing assistance may be needed on wet days or when the river is low. The bathroom is an outhouse and near the top and overflow parking.
Fishing is good. From dock to shore water depth is decent and fish ranging from 4-13 inches were pulled up the 3 days o was there. In the heat of the day dropping a line down the side with a worm or power bait or well... Even a empty hook and you can pull up some little to mid sized trout, bass, or bluegills. The shore drops about 3 feet from land and there are some trees and little bit of weeds in the edge, a few lost lines in the trees, but the water is pretty clear of debree. Water was not too clear I could only see between 2-3 matters down, with the help of the right light and cloud coverage. Out away from the shore a few decent sized fish teased me all day giving me an enjoyable trip filled with hope. Off the end of the dock about 150 matters out there is a creek, a could of fish played over there most of the day and a hawk snagged up a good catch. A bobber or floating lure can make it down there if cast to the shore and let some like out, takes a while but I really wanted one of them jumpers, my friend got one while reeling in a floater that way. Lucky jerk. No cleaning facilities or bbq grill or ice chest near by, plan ahead. Remember to check fishing regulations and consumption guidelines.
No shade on the dock to speak of, either bring some or wear some sun screen.
