A Loop Campground, Champoeg State Historic Area — Hotel in Newberg

We love this campground! It is so close to Portland but is so peaceful. We have stayed in A-loop twice by the playground and it is great for families and not too loud at night. The bathrooms are clean and the sites are well maintained. We love the bike trails, especially the trail to the museum. We did the long ride to the Butteville Store and were surprised that it ends on such a busy road before you maneuver down to the store! Be warned if you have little kids.
